Odette Scarlet is the only daughter of a rich guy Graham Scarlet whose mother died when she was a baby. Due to this she was raised by servants and her father for most of her life and was pretty much the mistress of the house. One day daddy tells her he wants to remarry and the woman he’s picked is some lady shamed by society because she single handedly raised two daughter on her own. Odette thinks this lady is just a gold digger after her dad’s money but decides to give them a chance. Some time later, her father gets into an accident and dies. To make things worse, he doesn’t leave an inheritance and in fact leaves a LOAN putting Odette, Fatima & her 2 daughters in debt!! (lll ̄□ ̄)ガーン!! They only have a week left to live in this house and after that it has to get foreclosed and they gotta beat it. Fortunately Fatima isn’t an evil stepmother and the daughters aren’t evil stepsisters so they find a small cheap place to live in and ask Odette to come with them. Turns out the house they found is some old beat up haunted mansion that looks like something the Adams family used to live in. 😆 Fortunately life’s not too bad for our Cinderella because she gets to make friends with some hot monster bishies and attend the ball to win over prince charming’s heart.

Otome Game Review: Musketeer ~The Blood of the Knights~
So remember the good ol’ tale of the 3 Musketeers? Otomate came up with a BRILLIANT idea using the concept “what if D’Artagnan was a WOMAN and instead of being bffs with the 3 musketeers she got to hit dat sheit?” And so Musketeer was born! Our story starts when our heroine named D’Artagnan, (which I’m seriously shortening to Darty cause I’m not about to type that name out over & over in this post) is sent out to town to do some errands by her father. When she returns, some evil Gargoyle demon is attacking her father but being fragile & womanly all she can do is watch in horror as her father gets killed. Suddenly a hot dude shows up telling her that he was her father’s former pupil at the Chevalier school. He tells her that if she goes there she’ll find out the reason why her father was killed and will be able to train to get stronger! D’Artagnan decides it’s a good idea and decides to enroll there. She trains with the teachers on sword fighting and while there runs into the 3 most popular mans at the school: the 3 Musketeers. However, there’s a rule that if someone challenges you to a duel and you accept, the loser must swear loyalty to the opponent.

Otome Game Review: Double Reaction! Plus

I must be high to play another game by Datam/Polystar after this disaster but CURIOSITY GOT THE BEST OF ME. 😆 Our heroine Yuri, who is a rabid yaoi fangirl, is pissed off that she’s not as good looking as her twin brother Kairi. They find a wishing stone and then Yuri picks it up wishing she was a sexy beast…but then she drops the stone and breaks it. About 18 days later, on September 1st she starts her new school life with Kairi, but one morning they find that stone she broke back on top of her bed. When Yuri touches the stone, she and her brother end up switching bodies (:.o゚з゚o:.).:∵ぶっ While her brother isn’t too happy being a girl, our heroine Yuri can’t wait to spend her time being a bishounen and yaoi it up with some dudes. The body switching seems to be on and off and so the twins’ adventures begin!

Otome Game Review: Starry Sky ~After Autumn~
And so we have the Autumn fan disk. The game features “Another Story” for each teacher which basically starts off 5 years after the bad ends of the first game. The “After Story” then starts off from the “good ends” of the game and goes on until past Tsukiko graduating from college and marrying the guy. In addition, there’s a common route which has 5 different endings for the 5 skittles, that were introduced in the PSP game. Skip to my final thoughts to avoid spoilers as usual..

Otome Game Review: Soshite Kono Sora ni Kirameku Kimi no Uta XXX
So the XXX stands for kiss kiss kiss rather than porn…I don’t think they thought about their naming idea all the way through 😆 So anyway fandisk time! There are some positives over the last game. The CG quality has improved (slightly) and the choices are no longer timed. The cutouts in the dialogue box match the standing ones in the middle now too. Unfortunately there’s only about 24 CGs total and they completely removed the heroine’s voice. Bummer. That means I can’t go multi tasking or I miss half the dialogue ┐(‘~`;)┌ Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Soshite Kono Sora ni Kirameku Kimi no Uta XXX”
