And so here we are 9 years later and this blog is not dead yet 😂. The otome game world is going through a lot of changes right now with mobile dominating the market so the year has been rather strange as far as releases. It’s been rather quiet in the middle of the year and suddenly the autumn brought me more games than I can actually finish and my backlog is out of control. Let’s look back at what happened the past year.
This game or whatever you want to call it terrible so this review will be short, bitter and without any spoilers. Why no spoilers? Because there’s nothing to spoil, there’s no real story. The plot requires you, a faceless gacha premade heroine to pick a MatsuNEET and get him a job by the end of the game.
I’m like a week late but I’ve been in Japan and the wordpress app thinks it’s fun to make you upload 1 image at at time to their media section. I have a lot of catching up to do so here’s a gallery of what I managed to save off my phone. Majority of stuff was “X becomes an idol series/game” which honestly got kinda stale and was a grim reminder how huge the idol trend is. (I’m kinda honestly bored of it….I was bored of it after I left my UtaPri interests behind to be honest.)
So somehow I’ve managed to crawl to my 8th anniversary despite 2016 being a terrible year in most other aspects. 😂 But hey it’s a time for celebration and reflection so let’s look back on the things that happened and as usual, check out my terrible yearly otome game awards!
