Otome Game Review: Code:Realize ~Koufuku no Mirai~

I didn’t realize it’s actually been 2 years since I finished Code Realize since the English version actually only came out a year ago. Due to this I was a bit rusty on what happened but fortunately the after stories gave a brief review of what happened in case people like me forgot. The FD also adds an original mafia gang story as well as routes for Finis and Sholmes (which take place as if they were in the first game’s story.) The final section is a little bit of time Cardia spends with Dela-chan’s daily activities.

Otome Game Review: Dance with Devils

So because AmiAmi had a turbo-sale on their ebay store, I managed to snag a copy of this game for only $53 for the LIMITED edition box that included the preorder bonus drama CD too lol. But yea I mean I guess I shouldn’t be surprised why they gave it such a huge discount – because after watching the anime, the game becomes somewhat predictable. If you’ve seen the anime you basically already know the story so there won’t be too many spoilers here. The basic story is our heroine Tachibana Ritsuka possesses the forbidden grimoire inside of her and anyone who gets a hold of it will attain enormous powers. Due to this she now has the vampires & devils fighting over her. Also unfortunately (?) there are no musical numbers within the game. 😂 Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Dance with Devils”

Otome Game Review: Taisho Alice -all in one-

This is the review for the Vita port of Taisho Alice but there’s actually no differences from the PC game. The Vita port just combines all the disks in one making it an easy seamless playthrough of the the entire story. Our story is about Arisu Yurika who finds herself in various “worlds” where she interacts with a gender swapped fairy tale heroines.  There’s a truth behind the entire game though which I will talk about in my review so as usual, avoid spoilers by jumping to my final thoughts!

Otome Game Review: Period Cube ~Torikago no Amadeus~

Hanamiya Kazuha got hit by a car when she was little which caused brain damage and memory lapses. She’s been able to live her daily life fairly normally despite having gaps in her memories. One day her childhood friend Hiroya tells her that her brother Shiki has been MIA for a few days. The two of them think he might be sucked into an MMO game called Arcadia – on server V – where if you login to the server, your body goes into a coma and your soul is “inside” the game. Hiroya then tells Kazuha to make an alt on her brother’s account and join the fun but…our heroine apparently barely knows how to use a computer let alone play an online MMORPG. On top of it, server V is a PK server full of high level players and somehow Kazuha has access to godly powers that allow her to basically wipe out everything in sight. So now while she’s trying to find her oniichan, every player is out to get her to join their party so they can clear the end game dungeon – the Hakobune – in order to log their soul out of Server V. Unfortunately their time is limited because something called the “Death Cloud” is running around basically wiping all the data off the server. Otome Game Review: Crimson Empire ~Circumstances to Serve a Noble~

I ragequit this game back in 2008ish because I just couldn’t figure out the battle system…but then 7 years later Quinrose decided to port it to Vita with the battle system removed making it a straight VN. Ever since Quin Rose’s demise (and secret Otomate asset buyout) I figured this would be the first and last Quin Rose game I’ll play so I can go out with a bang! Our story is about Sheila Rozen, who was a child slave sold by her shitty family to a gang of assassins in Gil Katar led by none other than Curtis Nile who we saw in Arabian’s Lost! He then sold her and some of the other girls (including Chezjka who went to Aileen) to royalty to be their bodyguards. Sheila becomes the bodyguard for the 2nd in line prince Edvard and is also the head of the  “maid bodyguard team”. Sheila learned to be a pro fighter thanks to Curtis’s special assassin school but she still has a weakness in which when she gets too excited – her nose bleeds. Her job is to make Edvard the king so she is extremely loyal to him, but she has to fraternize with all the royal dudes in order to gain their support.  Oh and also, Sheila just so happened to have made a promise with the devil to give her soul to him upon her death. The game is basically a look into the day in the life of a Sheila and the people around her.
