Did you ever want to feel like an oppressed woman in the year 1925 in the country of Italy? Do you enjoy being a damsel in distress surrounded by EDGY AND DANGEROUS mafia men? Does the idea of being kidnapped by the Chinese mafia and potentially sold as a sex slave EXCITE you!? Then you probably shouldn’t read the rest of this review cause these are all landmines that literally ruin a game for me. Needless to say this ain’t gonna be pretty, and it’s just a rage diarrhea that took me 1 month and 2 weeks of dragging on to complete. This is the review for the Collar x Malice fandisk which contains after stories for the main cast, side stories for some of the side characters, and an alternative story that takes place after one of the bad endings of the game.
So I thought this was gonna be some randy FD to the first game but turns out it was even more involved plotline about cursed books and revenge. The black lilly flower apparently means revenge and that seems to be the focus in a lot of the routes as well as the true (??) ending. The game takes place 1 year after Tsugumi joined Fukuro. Spoilers ahead after the jump.
Our story centers around 2 twin sisters, Airi and Luna. Luna lives in the Black World ruling over it as the queen while Airi lives in the White World, aka on earth, where she’s your average boring high school girl. Due to Luna unable to contain her “Alice” powers the 2 of them are swapped in order to keep the Black World from collapsing.
This is the KLAP fandisk but apparently Otomate couldn’t afford to get Kawahito Yasutake to draw the CGs so most of them look like they’re done by Otomate inhouse staff. 😂 Despite the CG derp the FD was still short & sweet and worth the play if you enjoyed the previous game.
