This is the fandisk for Yunohana Spring which contains the after story following the good end of the first game, another and if stories which are side stories and extra ends for some of the side characters.
Hanamiya Kazuha got hit by a car when she was little which caused brain damage and memory lapses. She’s been able to live her daily life fairly normally despite having gaps in her memories. One day her childhood friend Hiroya tells her that her brother Shiki has been MIA for a few days. The two of them think he might be sucked into an MMO game called Arcadia – on server V – where if you login to the server, your body goes into a coma and your soul is “inside” the game. Hiroya then tells Kazuha to make an alt on her brother’s account and join the fun but…our heroine apparently barely knows how to use a computer let alone play an online MMORPG. On top of it, server V is a PK server full of high level players and somehow Kazuha has access to godly powers that allow her to basically wipe out everything in sight. So now while she’s trying to find her oniichan, every player is out to get her to join their party so they can clear the end game dungeon – the Hakobune – in order to log their soul out of Server V. Unfortunately their time is limited because something called the “Death Cloud” is running around basically wiping all the data off the server. Happy new year everyone, unfortunately my first review of the year is off to a not so great start. (;´･ω･) This is the fandisk to Ayakashi Gohan which I finished recently, but unfortunately it was very disappointing and not what I had in mind when I think of “fandisks” in general. The game takes place after the plot resolution (?) in the first game and focuses on Rin’s senior year of high school and her path to going to college and growing up. So since Amnesia was licensed in English by Idea Factory and released on Steam, once it came on sale for like 90% off I finally convinced
Kentmy husband to buy and play it. And well since we used to blog anime together I figured why not have him review it? Although after reading his thoughts, I think I might have made a grave mistake ಠ_ಠ. If you dare to read his review (aka making fun of the game) please follow after the jump! If the reactions from my readers aren’t too horrifying, then maybe I’ll have him write up a review for the Norn 9 Aksys port that I’m forcing him to play. Also for the most part, it’s non spoiler but it does contain CGs from the game.
Akane Rin’s father died when she was little and so her mother became a prostitute to try to make a living to support them. Rin never understood this because she was too young but due to this she had no friends and a lot of kids/parents spread rumors about her. One day her paternal grandma Sumi took her back to her place where she lives in a village called Momiji that is filled with ayakashi. Rin didn’t really like them and after spending a month there she ended up returning back to her house. 10 years later, her mother died probably from being killed by one of her customers but Rin never knew why. She never cried during the funeral and she’s been living on whatever money her mom left while going to school. One of the ayakashi, Gin, who she met when she was little comes to visit her and asks if she wants to come back and live with him and the other Ayakashi at the village she went to in the past. He said that he’s running a restaurant there and she gets free food as well as a place to live. Rin figures she doesn’t wanna deal with any burden of her mother’s leftovers and is running out of money for paying bills…so she decides to leave everything behind and join Gin and other ayakashi at Ponpokorin restaurant.
