Otome Game Review: Vitamin Z

So continuing from the previous game Vitamin X, our former heroine Minami Yuri decided she wants to teach the fuck out of the entire world so she decides to go traveling. Due to this her position opens up, and a girl who just graduated college and is looking for a job gets an offer from her. This girl’s name is Kitamori Manami and she’s now the new teacher in charge of the reject class at that school. Fortunately for her there’s only 4 idiots this time, the Aho-4 and our favorite B6 (beautiful 6 now 😆 ) guys from the last game are back as teachers to help her out! プッ(※థэథ)∵.*.∵ On top of that she has the 3 senseis who form the GTR – Great Teachers R (all their first names start with R) that help her with the crazy principal who looks like a vampire, with his little butt kissing assistant to drive her crazy. If that wasn’t bad she also has 2 twins from the student council to deal with. Manami’s got a lot on her plate, so will she be able to fill in Yuri’s shoes?

Otome Game Review: Panic Palette

The story is about Itou Aki who lives alone in an apartment and starts her first year in high school. The story takes place in the same school & town as Little Aid so the game reused a lot of the backgrounds and some of the sub characters from there are also back (i.e. Sawato..) One evening while Aki is taking a stroll on the beach she runs into some guy wearing arabian clothes and he claims that she will be his wife because of a mark on her hand. Turns out this guy is an alien prince from another planet. She’s all like ‘Uh no’ so his eyeball sidekick explains to her that if she wants to remove that mark, she needs to collect some color auras from people (i.e. anger, happiness, fear etc.) So now it’s up to Aki (and us) to collect all the colors and use the coffee machine Mariko 2002 to create the special potion to remove the mark. Additionally her pest problem is taken care of by none other than the ORIGINAL Tokunami Touya nuko (who I guess the guy’s soul took over in Kaeru Batake xD!) Otome Game Review: Last Escort 2 ~Shinya no Amai Toge~

So continuing with my February Escort Month  we’re moving on to #2. I guess D3p realized that LE 1 was just too much torture and LE2 was significantly easier. The obvious things were that you didn’t have to spam the lottery to earn money. You earned money by selling random crap on L-Ebay. You could buy so much crap in 1 route and go into the red but you’d start fresh in the next route, keep all your items and sell them for more money! Yes it’s cheating but it beats lottery spam 😆 After about 4? routes of ebaying my 99 computers and refrigerators I no longer even needed to do this as my 3.5 million would kinda balance out to the same amount every time I started & finished the next route. Additionally you could save at any point! Change options at any point! What a concept! That means if you weren’t playing on an emulator this game wouldn’t make you rage 20 times over. They hired a different artist to draw the guys so everyone’s hotness level instantly went up! Just like with LE1 the music was very jazzy as well and just like with LE1 I’m sad to say there was no music gallery either ( ´_ゝ`). Bummer. Anyway this time the club is still club Gorgeous but our heroine is Andou Serika who is a 20 year old magazine reporter. The new Gorgeous tenchou is now Amane and not Minazuki ;_;. The club also looks less golden and more sleezy. Additionally the game time has been cut from a full year span to only a half year span and they added some mini games to try to entertain (read: enrage) you. Otome Game Review: Himehibi -Princess Days-

Himehibi is a Takuyo game so of course you can expect there to be crack as I learned from Little Aid. As expected though you can’t get with the crackiest character (until the sequel so I’ll save my fangirling for the next game.) The story is about Aizaki Koi (yes her name is KOI not Ren 😆 ) who finds out that apparently she has this grandpa who is the principal of an all boys school. Since her parents are abroad in some foreign country (what else is new) she is told to transfer to this school…and then it will become a co-ed school! But! Since she is the first female there, she of course becomes this huge idol and you have to play mini games to “earn fans” and do “fanservice” for them 😆 I guess if you don’t have enough fans your favorite bishie will not look your away oh noes. So she transfers to the male dorm with her 2 nukos Mii and Nyaa (possibly the best part of the game) and her room is right next to all the guys so they can be her knights in shining armor. Sadly the biggest turn off for this game for me was…cousincest. I don’t care how distant or close cousins they are, it’s still incest to me yuck. Playing the game though I forcefully put this information out of my mind so I could at least 萌え~ during the cute scenes lol. Spoilers ahead 😎 Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Himehibi -Princess Days-“

Otome Game Review: Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!!

For starters this is the most complicated otome game I’ve ever played. If you think you can just click your way through choices and stuff you’ve got another thought coming. This game requires you to take our 100kg heroine Hitomi, and get her down to 55 or less within a years time period. Not only that but you have to also get her to become pretty, smart, athletic and all around a non-existantly perfect human being for any of the bishies to even like her and get a good end with her. Actually apparently she used to be a beauty queen when she was a loli but her siscon oniichan spoiled her with candy so she became a tub of lard. The other problem I had was that a lot of the online guides are only for the DS or PS2 version. While most of the stuff is the same, the keywords at the end were completely different and I had to google for 3 different guides because the first time I played through I didn’t get the bishie’s good end arggh! (Warning: This post is REALLY REALLY long.) Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!!”
