I’m so pissed off I want to break something. I can’t believe MK would pull a fucking cheap move like this. Before I rage further let me basically explain.

Before – when you are in a party, if a party member dies as long as they stay dead, the rank will not drop at the end of the game. If they revive with any scroll (cash or normal) the rank will drop.

Death penalty change – when someone dies RANK WILL DROP REGARDLESS. The ONLY WAY for rank to NOT drop is if you use one of those cash revival scrolls. So now, if you die and you don’t have a cash revival scroll you MIGHT AS WELL revive because whether you’re dead or not, RANK WILL DROP. FFFFFUUUUUU 😡 😡 😡

I’m so fucking pissed off. Now nobody is going to party with Cromodos or Nagis or Ilishias unless they’re like overpowered because let’s face it, those characters often die. This is so fucking stupid. Way to make me dislike the game even further. God damnit, when RO2 is out I’m quitting for real. I’m not spending anymore money on this game. This game is headed the same route as Megaten, and I’m done with this shit.

Sigh the only good thing is the sunflower event. The sunflower head item at least gives dodge +3 and crit +2 which would be a pretty decent item for my Ruko. Additionally you can get C stones and hey those special cash revival scrolls HUR HUR HUR =___= SIGH god I’m so pissed off about this I can’t believe MK would stoop this low. I still haven’t gotten my computer put together so I’m stuck playing on JP’s laggy laptop T___T

  1. nah the players favorite was like Ruko or Ilishia haha. Cave totally released paid maps for megaten so if MK DARES to do that…thats when I quit the game. Actually once RO2 is out I will probably quit this game. It’s already on death row in my eyes and I refuse to spend anymore money on it.

  2. So that means no will want to play with your Cromodo, your favourite character. Man what a shitty thing to do. I mean wasn’t Cromodo one of the players favourites in a poll? One of the reasons I don’t like “free to play” MMOs. Must of them just turn out like this in time. Wait till they start releasing paid maps, how much you wanna bet that will happen too?

    And hey…at least megaten didn’t do porno videos. Nor did pangya even with all the lolis. So in that aspect, this game was just terrible. I didn’t watch the video, and I still can’t believe they did such a thing.

    it used to be fun, laggy and whatsoever over teamspeak @_@

  5. yea I’m like turned off too. I mean I can until my special scrolls run out… I think I have about 40 in my inventory. Man being Nagi though, if someone dies everyone blames you, that really sucks. Maybe we can schedule leveling our guild together? 😦

    no one’s gonna want my cromodo but I have 25 dodge now so I should be less likely to die…but at least I won’t be playing as him as long as I’m on JP’s laptop sigh -_-;

  6. And just today I was thinking I’m glad Tartaros isn’t like some of these other MMORPGs where if you die, you lose EXP.

    Officially turned off from partying with Japanese players now. It’s one thing if I die and I’m only really burdening myself. Only I get extra fatigue, only I miss out on any exp monsters killed after I die might give, but at least I’m not screwing over the entire team. Now, they’re making it even HARDER to level, and probably making it harder to get into a party. Because you know very well there are gonna be some party leaders who won’t want you around if you play as X character, don’t have your weapon upgraded to level 11+, or don’t have your clothes upgraded to lv5. My Ilisia now has a lv10 weapon and both my top and bottom ARE upgraded to 5, and I STILL have a few close calls or die once every 3 runs or so.

    While this will probably force people to look out for their teammates (a great thing!), if I’m playing as Nagi and somebody gets into trouble and I can’t save them in time, guess who’s getting the dirty looks? /o/ If I’m playing as Ilisia and I get shot at in a corner (I think those shooters on kaizoku M have magic attack) and can’t get up BECAUSE THE FIRE BULLETS JUST KEEP COMING AT ME AND I’VE FALLEN AND I CAN’T GET UP (this often happens) AND NOBODY NOTICES, guess who’s getting the dirty looks? /o/

    See, when I die in Japanese parties, I sometimes feel a little embarrassed, but now I’ll feel A LOT embarrassed and A LOT guilt-ridden.
