Happy Valentine’s Day! Nothing like spending it with your 2D mans right? So because all the terrible vita otome games that I’ve suffered through lately and with the delay of Taisho Alice FD, I’ve fallen back on more mobile apps by getting a bunch of Osomatsu apps that were released over the past year. I picked up PazuMatsu, Hesokuri Wars, Osomatsu Sanpo and TabiMatsu which I’ll be reviewing after the jump!
Our heroine Kokoro gets taken to the Netherworld by some grandpa owl who tells her she will now be enrolling in a school to become a shinigami. Netherworld is a place that souls go to if they have regrets from their past lives and cannot transcend into the afterlife. Unfortunately Kokoro isn’t the brightest bulb on the tree and she ends up getting a 2 on her exam – successfully FAILING to get a shinigami partner. Because of this she’s placed into a “special” learning group for all the other failures. Unlike most shinigami there, Kokoro has no memories of her past life, how she died, and what regrets brought her to the Netherworld.

So I made the mistake of buying yet another quin rose game, but this will be the last mistake I will make with Quin Rose. I loved the original Alice game, anyone who reads this blog will know it. Hell I’m even raving about how much I loved it in my original review. However my high hopes were crushed for the umpteenth time with this remake and after the jump is just a collection of rants about this game and Quin Rose in general. If you enjoyed this game or like Quin Rose, I suggest reading my original review and not going beyond this point! Additionally there’s CG spoilers everywhere so if you’re new to the game and don’t want to be spoiled it’s best to stay away. Otherwise, read on!

This is the direct sequel of the Arcana Famiglia series, Arcana Famiglia 2. As usual everyone has their daily life on the island of Regalo until one day a group of merchants come to visit. The merchants are Vir, Neve, Serafino and Teodore. They seems like average junk sellers until Felicita and co. discover that they are selling a deck of Tarot Cards that no one but Mondo should have! Mondo asks to speak to them immediately and suddenly he has them staying over at the family house like bffs. Felicita and co. are confused on what’s going on so they follow the merchants to Nordia to get to the bottom of things. Be forewarned, this game’s depressing as shit and characters you love may end up suffering terrible fates. Let’s be honest, this isn’t a sequel or an alternative Dia. This is really just Quin Rose trying to suck their remaining customer base dry by splitting the Dia game in half and releasing 2 separate games. This time, Boris, Julius, Gray, Nightmare and Ace get routes but after finishing the game I can definitely say they could have easily combined the 2 into 1 disk by simply cutting out all the fat. Anyway I think I’m going into my final thoughts in the intro paragraph so I’ll stop here :lol:. Basically Alice is once again in Clover no Kuni and she goes through the looking glass to find herself once again in the Country of Diamonds, with no recollection of any of the events that happened in the previous Dia game.
