Enju is kunoichi who’s been training for years and is now set to go to her first mission in Kyoto. Little did she know that she would be the center of a feudal lord murder conspiracy. Also before we get started please check out this useful Wikipedia article about Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the Sengoku era rule in Japan.
Sooo after Quin Rose died, many dark days have passed until Otomate picked up their assets and released a brand new game under the label “QuinRose Reborn”. This time Alice goes into the country of Spades but the catch is….she’s got amnesia! All she remembers is her name is Alice but she has no idea that Peter White brought her here or what anything is. Perfect to get new players into the series right? So this time instead of the clock tower we have a train station (rip Julius) and the “world event” that everyone has to go to is the casino run by the lion, Hannibal Gold.
Who knew I’d play another Quin Rose game!? I guess boredom hit me hard this summer and with a lack of any new otome game releases period I decided to play the FD I never bothered to. It’s actually the FD to the first Alice game except they replaced Dee & Dum with Humpty & Dumpty. They claim themselves to be twins but they look nothing alike and Alice thinks she’s going crazy cause it’s not Dee & Dum lol. Nightmare explains that it’s just a “crazy storm” where everyone changes temporarily, except Alice, since she’s an outsider – and that’s why nobody thinks Humpty & Dumpty replacing Dee & Dum is odd except for her. So basically it was an excuse for QuinRose to justify changing people and making them O/C and while it worked in some it ended up ruining things for me in others.
Akari has been living alone most of her life due to being an orphan. One day during a solar eclipse, she’s sucked into another world called Shangrila where it’s eternally night and no signs of daylight. The elders find out and say she’s the “Liar Moon” from the prophecy who will save Shangrila and return the daylight to them. Unfortunately nobody actually knows how to do this… except Fenrir and his brothers who know that in order to get the sun back, the Liar Moon has to sacrifice her life. And as fate would have it, Fenrir is the first person Akari runs into and becomes friendly with. Additionally, Akari also has the powers to see people’s past simply by looking at the reflection of the moon in a body of water. This leads her to discover the truth about everything in Shangrila.
