RPG Review: Tales of Vesperia -Definitive Edition-

So after playing Tales of Arise I got sucked into the Tales universe after another crazy Steam sale where these games, normally $50, were like $8 lol. I first began with Tales of Symphonia, but I basically ended up ragequitting after 1 night of archaic JRPG bullshittery and moved on to Vesperia. Fortunately Vesperia came with 2 free DLCs that boosted my stats and gave me crafting items to make weapons that I don’t get until end game if I were to do it the legit way. 😈 As usual my husband’s comments are in blue.

Otome Game Review: Yukyuu no Tearblade -Fragments of Memory-

So here I was thinking we were done with space oniichan adventures and gonna settle down for a nice peaceful fandis….WELL I WAS WRONG. As the title says, this is apparently a giant appendix for all the stuff they forgot to mention in the first game (or retroactively added because why not). While the game contains short after stories, they are merely a shadow of the Eclipse – the main chunk of the game that focuses on explaining the entire timeline of the past 17,000 years. Warning for incoming confusing text walls.

Otome Game Review: Yukyuu no Tearblade -Lost Chronicle-

So this game ended up flying under everyone’s radar because 1) no one understood wtf the trash pick up system really was and 2) why are there Gundams in my otome!? The good news is the system was actually really easy and just terribly misleading on their site. The bad news however, there’s still Gundams, and unless you’re a huge Gundam fan, the battles get really repetitive and tedious which may have been ultimately this game’s downfall. Our story begins with our heroine, Eve, who is some ancient sage that’s been alive for 3000 years. She lives in an undersea shelter called the Neosphere with her AI Cradle. Meanwhile the outside world the earth is in shambles and 2 guys, Sud and Atharva manage to fall into the Neopshere. They are being chased by the government who uses a robot golem to break into there as well. When Sud is hurt, Eve calls upon her powers for help and summons the ancient GUNDAM TEARBLADE.

Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia 2 ~La storia della Arcana Famiglia~

This is the direct sequel of the Arcana Famiglia series, Arcana Famiglia 2. As usual everyone has their daily life on the island of Regalo until one day a group of merchants come to visit. The merchants are Vir, Neve, Serafino and Teodore. They seems like average junk sellers until Felicita and co. discover that they are selling a deck of Tarot Cards that no one but Mondo should have! Mondo asks to speak to them immediately and suddenly he has them staying over at the family house like bffs. Felicita and co. are confused on what’s going on so they follow the merchants to Nordia to get to the bottom of things. Be forewarned, this game’s depressing as shit and characters you love may end up suffering terrible fates. The good news is, being a sequel, every route starts out with Felicita and the guy already being lovers. Continue reading Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia 2 ~La storia della Arcana Famiglia~
