Otome Game Review: Shinobi, Koi Utsutsu

When Katagiri Kaede was 7 years old, her family was attacked by some ninja. Her mother & father died, but another ninja came to her rescue and took her to her grandmother to safety. Not knowing his name, Kaede was determined to also grow up to be a ninja and join the Sanada defense force so she could one day protect her loved ones, like how that ninja protected her.  One day she runs into the principal of the famous Fujiwara Ninja Training School who tells her to enroll for free because he feels she has the talent to be a great ninja. Kaede is excited to start her first day, but on her first day, she accidentally sets off an illusion jutsu that makes guys fall head over heels for her! Coined as MeroMero Jutsu, Kaede charms any guy within the vicinity of her charm AOE! Because of this, Sanada sensei tells her to pick a guy to “train with” so she can get her jutsu under control and pass the midterm exam. Unfortunately because the guys she charms are the 6 most popular & capable dudes in the school, she’s the subject of bullying attacks from jealous bitches.

Ameba Otome Game Review: Boyfriend (Kari)

bfkari

So because the games I ordered in January got lost in the mail, I spent most of February forcing Alice down my throat and tapping my android phone with a money jerking card game. Fortunately because idgaf about collecting every pokemon, I didn’t spend a penny but none the less it was a good time killer so I figured I’d share the wealth. 2014 New Releases Digest

vita
There’s a yellow PS Vita 2000 with my name on it.

I feel bad for kinda ignoring this blog for the past month and escaping into FF14 so here’s a post! Since FF14 my interest in otome game news has been under a rock though I’ve been trying to keep up with site updates and magazine scans. I decided to take a look at Cool B’s release calendar to analyze what’s coming our way in 2014. (And by no means is this list complete since new games get announced all the time.)

Abridged Edition Heart no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Half-assed World~

This game is an embarrassment I feel embarrassed for wasting money on it.
This game is an embarrassment I feel embarrassed for wasting money on it.

So I made the mistake of buying yet another quin rose game, but this will be the last mistake I will make with Quin Rose.  I loved the original Alice game, anyone who reads this blog will know it. Hell I’m even raving about how much I loved it in my original review. However my high hopes were crushed for the umpteenth time with this remake and after the jump is just a collection of rants about this game and Quin Rose in general. If you enjoyed this game or like Quin Rose, I suggest reading my original review and not going beyond this point! Additionally there’s CG spoilers everywhere so if you’re new to the game and don’t want to be spoiled it’s best to stay away. Otherwise, read on!

Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia 2 ~La storia della Arcana Famiglia~

This is the direct sequel of the Arcana Famiglia series, Arcana Famiglia 2. As usual everyone has their daily life on the island of Regalo until one day a group of merchants come to visit. The merchants are Vir, Neve, Serafino and Teodore. They seems like average junk sellers until Felicita and co. discover that they are selling a deck of Tarot Cards that no one but Mondo should have! Mondo asks to speak to them immediately and suddenly he has them staying over at the family house like bffs. Felicita and co. are confused on what’s going on so they follow the merchants to Nordia to get to the bottom of things. Be forewarned, this game’s depressing as shit and characters you love may end up suffering terrible fates. The good news is, being a sequel, every route starts out with Felicita and the guy already being lovers. Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia 2 ~La storia della Arcana Famiglia~”
