Poupee Valentine’s Day

Well since Valentine’s Day is around the corner as usual Poupee Girl’s got their event going. I’m kinda meh about most of the dresses although the heart bags & candies are a nice collectors item. If you buy some Vday stuff you’ll get dogs and cats having tea at your table 😆 I have to admit it’s a little more creative than last year’s background.

Uninstalled Party Castle

Well if it wasn’t obvious already I uninstalled party castle. I don’t feel like drawing lately, let alone designing any clothes. To be honest I think Party Castle is a great concept and for artists it’s really a nice way to express your creativity. However I’m at a state where I feel my art sucks, I have no creative design skills – I just copy stuff from other games (like Pangya)…and I’ve been away from it for so long I don’t even think anyone would care if I made anything lol. Maybe one day I’ll come back but considering I haven’t touched it in over 2 months there’s no need to keep it around on my computer.

Since I am no longer following it I won’t be posting any further updates about it on this blog. (Until I return…if that ever happens.)

Cromodo GET!

Couple game diary notes. I finally got Cromodo (after dying to Chunil King? 4 times). MK Style and Webmoney (and apparently bit cash) like refuse to take foreign credit cards so I can’t really buy any game cash unless I go through 3rd party shit like kanetrade – which I really don’t feel like doing because it’s a ripoff. The game level cap is currently level 35 I believe but once we get Ruko that should hopefully be raised to like 38 or 40 or something. While I’ve been able to get into the servers on weekend mornings, I’m going to assume its because they increased capacity (and therefore increased server lag) or because people reached the cap and quit playing lol.

Well Tartaros is still a new game….once I get everyone to 30~35 (or to Ruko’s scenario) I guess I’d take a break and get back to otome gaming or something. We’ll see what happens. Really bummed about the cash thing, but it’s not so bad I guess since other than buying hair I’ve had no desire to really spend money on anything anyway.

Ruko brings in a new map

So with a new character comes a new scenario and of course a new map. The official site has opened up the page (need to use internet explorer to view) that shows some monsters and bits & pieces of the story. (All the monsters look like stuff from the 2nd village though ^^; pigs and rabbits again…) They also included images of Ruko’s shop hair styles

I love the one on the very top right with the 2 pig tails. It’s just so cute! The long hair down and the pony tail are nice too. For some reason I just don’t like her default hair style lol (like how I don’t like cromodo’s default hair style >_>) I still haven’t figured out how I’m gonna buy cash for this game…gotta fiddle around with webmoney.

Major scenario bug.

Just wanted to point out the major scenario bug that seems everyone’s encountered. Yes it’s the bug where you’re playing your scenario battle with your 2 AI and you have to press your keyboard like 5 times just to do the damn attack. It’s like some kind of response lag bug and it’s gotten me killed on multiple ocasions unless I smashed my keyboard. I first thought it was my keyboard, but after asking about 4 people who had the same issue I’ve come to the conclusion this is a stupid bug. I know MK Style released a bug list and I read through it and didn’t see it listed (but they had weird bugs like “when your guild reaches level 3 the guild mark will disappear” wut.)

Since this is an obvious mainstream bug I’m hoping enough people reported it that it will be fixed. They actually responded to my support ticket the other day and “deeply apologized” for the crowded servers and said they were working on it. I think the biggest problem is that your characters are tied to a server. Most MMOs I’ve played (except old crap like Ragnarok Online) you can usually hop any server because all the characters are all in 1 database. Here it looks like once you’re in a server, you’re stuck there so even if another server is opened, it’s very unlikely people are going to move to it and abandon all their hard work from the previous server. If they could find a work around for this I think it would make for a better gaming experience…but I somehow don’t forsee that in the near future.

Sucks for those who live in Japan I guess, but the only time this is an issue for me is on Saturday & Sunday mornings 😆
