Otome Game Review: Soukoku no Kusabi ~Hiiro no Kakera 3~

Lol yea I don’t know why the series name is in the subtitle but whatever. I’ve decided to skip over HNK 2 because of its remake crap and having a completely different cast. Instead we’re jumping to Hiiro 3 which takes place the following summer.  It’s now a hot summer and as usual Takuma is eating taiyaki while walking home to the Tamayori shrine together with Tamaki and O-chan (who I’ve promptly renamed to べべぬこ (´^ω^`)).  Everyone is busy studying for their entrance exams and Yuuichi even comes home from his university dorm to help them since he’s on break. One day they notice that a bunch of people are missing in school and when they run outside they realize that everyone in the school/village except for them has disappeared! When they go to check it out and split into groups, Tamaki runs into some shota being attacked by shadowy blobs. They bring him home and name him Rin and just then Ashiya & Kiyono come over. Ashiya explains it’s something to do with mirrors and then says that Drei has been killed along with the other 3 Logos bosses by some dude named Neil. Neil is now the new leader of Logos and he’s unsealed these mirrors which is what caused the disappearance of people in the village. He concludes by saying that most likely this mirror effect will spread beyond this village and THE WORLD IS DOOMED UNLESS TAMAKI AND HER HAREM TAKE SOME ACTION HELL YEA! ヽ(★`益´)ノ 気合ダァ!!

Otome Game Review: Tokyo Yamanote Boys -Dark Cherry-

And so we’ve reached the final TYB disk, Dark Cherry. This time our man lineup features Jesus, Shinnosuke & Tetsu, which in my eyes are the best guys of TYB xD. As usual Chihiro goes on dates with them and then picks her man and like with Honey Milk, they bring back the Virus/Vaccine plot which is concluded in this disk. Jump to my final thoughts to avoid spoilers as usual!

Otome Game Review: Natsuzora no Monologue

There’s a giant white pole in town that everyone refers to as the “tree”. Nobody knows why it got there but one day it just appeared. Our heroine Ogawa Aoi lost her memory 1 year prior when she fainted  near it. It’s all good though because she’s got her science club buddies who want to help her get it back. Sadly their plans are cut short when everyone starts Groundhog daying it on July 29th, the day before the science club was to disband. The reason being because they all secretly wish that the 30th will never come because they all have various life changing situations that will happen the next day. They’re not aware of this though, and they try to figure out a way how to get out of it until they all start realizing why they’re looping in the first place. Skip to final thoughts to bypass the spoiler wagon.

Otome Game Review: Tokyo Yamanote Boys -Super Mint-

So now that we’re done with the cotton candy aliens from Honey Milk, it’s time for Long Torso, Trap & Non-Rapist Yusa in Super Mint! The virus plot appears to remain the same…until Jesus comes along and kills the vaccine! Boom suddenly the vaccine plot is gone and Super Mint is now left to create a West Side story plotline to keep us entertained so that we don’t think this game is THAT shallow. Sadly, this doesn’t work, so I hope you like our choice of mans this time around or you’ll be bored to tears like I was. Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Tokyo Yamanote Boys -Super Mint-“
