Otome Game Review: Hakushaku to Yousei ~Yume to Kizuna ni Omoi wo Hasete~

Well since I saw the anime 2 years ago and it had a really crappy ending, I figured I’d play the game in hopes that we’d get more content and a better end. While we do indeed get more content and a better ending, we also get a bunch of unnecessary things. The entire game basically runs around Lydia reading some letters from people asking for help regarding some fairy related event. Lydia of course gets on top of things and as usual Edgar tags along. The game also started with a massive flashback to the anime using anime screencaps (and not good ones at that.) One of the episodes was also them basically taking the anime episode and using screencaps to turn it into a ‘story’. For someone who never watched the anime this may be okay, but since I saw the anime I was really annoyed having to see the same crap all over again. Otome Game Review: Little Aid

This was actually my first Takuyo game since Kaito Apricot failed on me with the save issue but it suffered from the same problem as that game – if you click out of the window game promptly stops. Why you do this? Because of this I couldn’t chat with anyone when I broadcast or the stupid game would keep stopping. The story is about a stupid middle school girl named Nishimura Akari who lives with her father and brother. She’s a freaking idiot who can’t cook, always sleeps late until her oniichan wakes her up and her voice actress sounds like nails on chalkboard. I guess the only positive thing is that since multiple characters are voiced by the same person I felt like I was playing the Sugita Tomokazu and Sawashiro Miyuki otome game 😆 Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Little Aid”

Otome Game Review: Sangoku Rensenki ~Otome no Heihou~

This is basically Fushigi Yuugi x Romance of the Three Kingdoms story. A girl named Yamada Hana (nice generic name!) gets sucked into the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms book and from there she has to help with war strategies in order to bring peace and stop the fighting! That’s great, except I really don’t give a crap about battle tactics! Really let the game decide it for me! I don’t care who wins or loses as long as I get some kissing/confessions at the end. I think I picked the wrong game to play 😐 Spoilers ahead~! Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Sangoku Rensenki ~Otome no Heihou~”

Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Spring~

Thanks to a blog reader I was able to get this game. I didn’t know what to expect going in, (I always go into these things pretty blindly lol) but I was fangasmic when I found out Ono Daisuke, Midorikawa Hikaru and Sugita Tomokazu were the voices of the 3 dudes you can get with in the game. *________* God my dreams come true seiyuu in an otome game lmao xDDDDD Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Spring~”

Otome Game Review: Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!!

For starters this is the most complicated otome game I’ve ever played. If you think you can just click your way through choices and stuff you’ve got another thought coming. This game requires you to take our 100kg heroine Hitomi, and get her down to 55 or less within a years time period. Not only that but you have to also get her to become pretty, smart, athletic and all around a non-existantly perfect human being for any of the bishies to even like her and get a good end with her. Actually apparently she used to be a beauty queen when she was a loli but her siscon oniichan spoiled her with candy so she became a tub of lard. The other problem I had was that a lot of the online guides are only for the DS or PS2 version. While most of the stuff is the same, the keywords at the end were completely different and I had to google for 3 different guides because the first time I played through I didn’t get the bishie’s good end arggh! (Warning: This post is REALLY REALLY long.) Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Otometeki Koi Kakumei Love Revo!!”
