Otome Game Review: Yukyuu no Tearblade -Fragments of Memory-

So here I was thinking we were done with space oniichan adventures and gonna settle down for a nice peaceful fandis….WELL I WAS WRONG. As the title says, this is apparently a giant appendix for all the stuff they forgot to mention in the first game (or retroactively added because why not). While the game contains short after stories, they are merely a shadow of the Eclipse – the main chunk of the game that focuses on explaining the entire timeline of the past 17,000 years. Warning for incoming confusing text walls.

Otome Game Review: Yukyuu no Tearblade -Lost Chronicle-

So this game ended up flying under everyone’s radar because 1) no one understood wtf the trash pick up system really was and 2) why are there Gundams in my otome!? The good news is the system was actually really easy and just terribly misleading on their site. The bad news however, there’s still Gundams, and unless you’re a huge Gundam fan, the battles get really repetitive and tedious which may have been ultimately this game’s downfall. Our story begins with our heroine, Eve, who is some ancient sage that’s been alive for 3000 years. She lives in an undersea shelter called the Neosphere with her AI Cradle. Meanwhile the outside world the earth is in shambles and 2 guys, Sud and Atharva manage to fall into the Neopshere. They are being chased by the government who uses a robot golem to break into there as well. When Sud is hurt, Eve calls upon her powers for help and summons the ancient GUNDAM TEARBLADE.

Android Otome App Review: Noraneko to Koi no Renkinjutsu

Translating to “Alchemy Love with  a Stray cat” this is like some complicated RPG version of neko atsume. 😂 Official site with download links is here however those outside Japan will probably need to use QooApp to bypass the gaijin block.

Otome Game Review: Re:Vice[D] ~Dear my Lord, I definitely find you~

And so this is my first Vita otome game! Gonna critique the hell out of that in my final thoughts :P.  Aika lives in the underworld serving her dark lord. One day the dark lord has to go off to war to fight. He leaves the throne in Aika’s hands until he returns, but he never makes it back. Aika decides it’s time to find a replacement and she and her 3 man slaves the other 3 guardians head to earth. The four of them each find a human who they think is a “good candidate” for the throne. It’s now up to the great election book Mike to test them all out to see who is the one best fit to be the next dark lord.

Otome Game Review: L.G.S ~Shinsetsu Houshin Engi~

So once upon a time in my college years I saw this anime called Houshin Engi. I didn’t understand wtf was going on and I’m actually pretty bad with any kind of ancient historical events.  So then Otomate decided in the spirit of SYK they are gonna otomeify it and turn Youzen into a female heroine. Except now her name is YouSEN. 😆 Since there’s spoilers ahead I’m just gonna cut it here, so more after the jump! Continue reading “Otome Game Review: L.G.S ~Shinsetsu Houshin Engi~”
