Tartaros ~Play With Maintenance~

Yeaa I feel like they did like 10 hours of maintenance today or something. I finally got to play after work and boom 2 hours later “sorry gaiz maintenance!” 🙄

Anyway yea I had to recreate my character because they erased everything from closed beta. How sad. 😦 Also be sure you have your GPU option off or else there’s no voices during the cut scenes (finally got the damn things to work.) If you want to play in window mode but you want a resolution higher than 800 x 600, set it to whatever resolution you want then you can actually stretch the edges of your client to fit properly. Just a quick blurb about Tinierme

I know TinierME has really shaped up after the wave of rage and complaints from the users regarding the new G-Coin system. I know that now they have stuff for both G-Coiners and Chibi Coiners alike, obviously the pay stuff being better, but at least no one’s really left out now. (Although I’m annoyed there’s no actual xmas tree in Chibi Coins – only a stupid snowman for your room >_>)

The thing is, TinierMe is just not for me. I mean sure playing the gacha with my leftover coins is fun sometimes but once I get like 2-3 duplicate items I quit anyway lol. It’s too much of a pain for me to organize trading so I just stop when I get too many doubles. I don’t go to tinierme otherwise. I don’t really participate in any of the groups, I don’t really read anyone’s journals anymore because a million people added me as a friend and it’s just hard to keep up.

I still glance over at tinierme to see what new items I can waste my remaining chibi coins on and I do think the stuff is cute but there’s just nothing for me to DO at the site. This is why I never got into stuff like Gaia Online. Don’t get me wrong I love dressups and stuff but I feel Poupee Girl does a better job of making the flash game more about dressup than about socializing with little kiddies. And yes, I’m an oldfart here so probably 90% of the community is younger than me ^^;. When I pay for online games, I want to do something other than just dress up my characters. For Pangya I can still play golf, hell if it’s decent enough I might even shell out money for Tartaros. Unfortunately, I just cannot shell out money for TinierMe, it just doesn’t engage my interests.

For those who really liked TM before but quit cause of the G-coin rage, I recommend you come back as it’s not so bad in that respect now. I’m just sincerely bored with the service, that’s all. 😕

Party Castle updates

Yea it’s been a while but there seems to be a lot of significant changes I figured worth mentioning. They have reorganized their shop so it’s a lot easier to find stuff now. They’ve also added the option to export wireframe when you want to edit your stuff in photoshop or something. This way you don’t have to keep flipping back & forth between the client & your art program. Makes editing textures a lot easier. They’ve also added their new cash system “Crysta”. I’m not quite sure what Crysta currency is used for other than their newest lottery:

Tartaros Online CB impressions.

First I want to explain something. My Japanese sucks a lot more than you guys think it does. Sure I can get the basic hang of stuff but when I want to write out detailed thoughts about something my Japanese is watered down to “I like it, there’s a few bugs, I got new clothes and I made a video.” Honestly it’s a pain in the ass. I thought that blogging about Tartaros on so-net would give me points for Postar but apparently it doesn’t unless I blog about gamepot’s games…so yea after posting 3 entries I decided I’m gonna blog about Tartaros here.

To avoid unnecessary people finding this site though, I’ve blocked all search engines from indexing it. I will also not provide any translations or registration guides here, this will simply be a game diary, which is what this blog is supposed to be in the first place. I really don’t like the idea of having to run away somewhere because certain retards keep accessing this blog but I also am sick of limiting my writing because my grasp of the language sucks when it comes to MMO terminology. Until recently, I didn’t even know what the fuck the kanji for “Vs” was in Pangya sigh -_-; My Pangya blogging will continue to be in Japanese for obvious reasons, but for now I’d like to blog about Tartaros in English. (And my blog never made it into the fansite list anyway so not like it matters at this point.)

I’m also considering the return of registered user only commenting but I’ve not completely decided on that yet. We’ll see how the engine blocking goes. It only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone. So anyway on to the impressions. Continue reading “Tartaros Online CB impressions.” →

How Bright Shadow experience division works

I decided to check out the Japanese BS wiki in regards to the whole experience dividing since over the weekend partying with someone 14 levels above me gave me 0 exp. See the table below:

4	90%	Basically 5 level difference is the most you can go before it starts to get crappy.

8	60%	It’s possible to be within 8 levels and still be more efficient than soloing
9	50%	This is the absolute limit, after that don’t bother partying.

13	10%
14	1	If you’re more than 14 levels apart, the highest person will get 1 exp and everyone else will get 0

So as you can see, ideally it’s good to be within 5 levels of each other. Anymore and it’s just a waste of time. I’m currently level 27 so any of you that are 22 and below or 33 and above are gonna have to either level up or wait for me to level up. 😕 At this point there’s a few people in the guild who are within my range and I’m sorry I haven’t been playing much. I’m trying to finish the otome game in the corner tonight as well as doing all the Pangya events. I was told that Bright Shadow is going to end open beta today and then officially reopen on the 11th. Hopefully that means no more level cap and new classes so at least it will motivate me to play more ^^;
