It’s been a while but because of some Alice & School Wars mini posters I decided to pick this up.

It’s been a while but because of some Alice & School Wars mini posters I decided to pick this up.
I decided to take a break from otome gaming (thanks to Amnesia Crowd) and while playing RO2 on the side I also picked up Tomoyo After. I’ve always been curious about the game in the past and when I found out the PSP port has the protag voiced by Nakamura Yuichi I figured why not? It’s only 1 route, since it’s really just like Nagisa’s after story in Clannad except this time, it’s for Tomoyo. Sadly, unlike Nagisa, Tomoyo does not get her happy ending or any kind of miracle. Major story spoilers ahead so skip to my final thoughts to avoid them.

Ryuuzaki Hanako (randomly generated name) takes on a part time job live with 3 butlers in a huge and wealthy mansion by a request of her aunt. Apparently they are all idols who work under her aunt’s agency, and need to learn how to “handle the ladies” better. In addition Hanako’s aunt also wants her to learn how to be a proper ojousama~. On the first day, all the butlers seem like they handle the ladies well – but it’s all just an act. In fact they’re pretty selfish and rude and it’s up to Hanako to whip them into shape!

When Otomate announced Amnesia Crowd nobody knew what it was about. Everyone thought it was going to be a sequel, a new deeper story for the Amnesia world. I felt something was fishy when the story page listed the exact same story as the original and in my head I thought this was going to be some kind of a remake. Turns out, it’s actually just a 2nd fandisk and may as well be called Amnesia -Even Later-. The suspense section features a time when Mary Sue is stuck somewhere during the first game and your man of choice has to save her. The working section features Mary just working her part time job at Meido no Hitsuji where you play some annoying mini games and interact with chibi versions of the characters. The Love section goes a bit further beyond Later and shows Mary and your dude of choice finally getting married after graduating college. Since Working and Suspense take place in the first game, Mary once again doesn’t talk. (;´∀`)

Yuri is your average OL in her early 20s. One day her dad tells her that his business flopped and now he needs a shit ton of money cause he’s in debt. Yuri wants to help but she’s just an OL so not like she can make that much money. Luckily she runs into some dudes who are willing to pay off her loans – if she marries them.
