Otome Game Review: Uta no Prince Sama♪ MUSIC

music
Op movie removed cause Broccoli is xenophobic.

So since I was playing love drops on the PS2, I decided to occupy my commute to work by playing another rhythm game. I figured since I just played Project Diva, I’d be pro at UtaPri music right? WRONG.

Otome Game Review: Real Rode

Now normally the only RPG games I play are the MMO kind so I had almost rage quit this too but  as usual Koori helped me persevere and eventually I had things figured out. I also read Sharakael’s tips on the game so be sure to check those out for more useful information! If you’ve made it through Love Revo, then I can assure you that you can make it through this since essentially the effort is the same – but this game allows you to carry over character levels making each route a lot easier. The story is about our heroine Nina who is playing an otome RPG game (because she’s an otaku apparently) and then one morning she gets sucked into it! So now it’s up to US to play the game for her so she can get out of the land of Rode 😆 The ironic part being of course – Nina has a boyfriend! But what does she do? Get cozy with videogame hunks despite him later falling into the game as well and joining her party! /(^o^)\ナンテコッタイ Warning I’ve included a  guide so this post is going to be long! Otome Game Review: Trouble Fortune Company Happy☆Cure

This is another one of those games where the seiyuu cast is amazing and everything else is balls. The story is about our heroine Tsuzuri whose mother is a fortune teller. One day her mom Sakura goes missing in action, leaving Tsuzuri and her brother Amane, saying she’s gone to look for their father. She leaves without saying where she’s going and how long she’ll be gone and now all of her fortune telling customers demand to see her. It’s up to Tsuzuri to train (aka for you to raise stats) so that she can become a super fortune teller and snag that man. Quality over 9000 ahead! Otome Game Review: Hakarena Heart ~Kimi ga Tameni Kagayaki wo~

The story is about a girl named Himemiya Yukari who lives in a huge house with her loli mother and Gendo Ikari father. Everything seems normal until one day after school she runs into some guy who grabs her by the arm saying he “needs her” and then suddenly a phantom thief on a horse shows up and saves her!? Everything just gets weirder from there when suddenly the guy who grabbed her comes to live at their house claiming to be her “cousin” whose family is “abroad and wants him to study Japanese culture”. All of a sudden an army trap, the phantom thief, a shota angel, a ninja and some crazy dude who wants to kill her – all move into her house! They’re all after her special magical stone which she has no idea about. Now she has to spend the rest of her days as everyone fights over her while trying to be your average school girl! /(^o^)\ナンテコッタイ Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Hakarena Heart ~Kimi ga Tameni Kagayaki wo~”

Otome Game Review: Hakushaku to Yousei ~Yume to Kizuna ni Omoi wo Hasete~

Well since I saw the anime 2 years ago and it had a really crappy ending, I figured I’d play the game in hopes that we’d get more content and a better end. While we do indeed get more content and a better ending, we also get a bunch of unnecessary things. The entire game basically runs around Lydia reading some letters from people asking for help regarding some fairy related event. Lydia of course gets on top of things and as usual Edgar tags along. The game also started with a massive flashback to the anime using anime screencaps (and not good ones at that.) One of the episodes was also them basically taking the anime episode and using screencaps to turn it into a ‘story’. For someone who never watched the anime this may be okay, but since I saw the anime I was really annoyed having to see the same crap all over again.
