Otome Game Review: Glass Heart Princess -PLATINUM-

Decided to catch up on some old backlog and realized I still never played this fandisk! I’m glad I picked it up since it really reminded me of how much fun the GHP team is and well now I’m really looking forward to their upcoming game (Trigger Kiss). Anyway the FD is split into a few sections – vacation trip, after story, 3P routes, side story and a story for Satsuki. For the vacation trip, because Kyoko was busy training her heart last summer she missed out on her high school summer activities. Her friend offers her special tickets to a private island resort and worried about her heart Kyoko wants to refuse….but Satsuki grabs them and says THIS YO CHANCE GUUURL. And so Kyoko and all her mans fly down for some hot summer events by the sea. The after stories are events immediately following the endings of the first game.

Galge Review: Ima Sugu Oniichan ni Imouto Datte Iitai! -I wanna say that I’m not your brother right now!-

Well it’s my usual once a year galge time, and after playing the demo, I decided to get the Vita port of ImaImo. Our protagonist Mitani Rikuto has been living with his father for many years after his mother died a while back. Right before starting high school, Rikuto’s father Naoma tells him that he’s remarried and Rikuto will be getting a new step “brother”. No matter how he looks at it, his new “brother” Ayumu looks like a sister and for no good reason has to dress as a girl when going to school. Poor Ayumu just wants to tell her new oniichan, that she’s not his little brother, but his little sister.  On the first day of school, Rikuto realizes that Ayumu is the “girl” he fell in love at first sight with during the entrance exam results announcements.

Tartaros Online returns as “Tartaros Rebirth”

Image

Even though it’s been over a year since Tartaros ended, looks like it’s coming back with a vengence (?) as “Tartaros Rebirth“.  No longer under MK-Style, Tartaros Rebirth is now under the Games Campus Japan label. Those of you who heard of Games Campus probably know of the English subsidiary whose list of games seems to as terrible as the beta of Asda Story I played many years ago 😆 (which apparently came back too wtf lmao). While part of me is excited to bask in the nostalgia of poor game mechanics and a horrible pay to win system, they already gave me the middle finger by putting ye olde’ GAIJIN BLOCK on the site. I had to access it with a proxy to be even able to take this screenshot. I’ve asked their official twitter gm on why the block but who knows if they will respond with anything beyond “this game for Japan onry.” Hopefully if there’s a continuation of the story, someone will record and upload it to NicoNico so at least I can enjoy the one aspect that kept me playing for 3 years.

Otome Game Review: Chronostacia

It’s year 2999, and the residents of Albion live in a town which is towered by a large yggdrasil tree with a giant sand clock embedded into it. This sandclock determines humanity’s time and if not flipped properly every 1000 years, humanity will disappear! In order to keep the time flowing, a “BANK” collects everyone’s time and those who do not deposit it eventually get turned into time sand. Our heroine Lucia runs a cafe called Cocono Cocono and is the owner of a small sand clock that resembles the one embedded in the yggdrasil tree. One day the bank informs everyone that an organization called “Baroque” has raided the time bank and stolen all the time. Due to this, there’s only 99 days left until the world ends. Immediate spoilers following the cut!
