Otome Game Review: Himehibi -Another Princess Days White or Black-

Kisakino Emi is an orphan whose parents died in a car accident when she was in middle school. She’s been living at an orphanage but attending a local high school so other than that part she was just your avg high school girl. One day she gets an invitation to a fancy ass all boys school owned by the rich Sumeragi corporation. Their goal is to have a girl, a “Princess” so to speak be in the school for a year to help them test waters to make the school reopen as a mixed gender school (just like with all the other HimeHibi games.) Unfortunately there’s a catch – she cannot tell her friends, or anyone, as it’s a top secret project, so they basically cut off all her communication and force her to live as the Rapunzel of Sumeragi Gakuen.

Guest Review: Taisho x Alice Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

That’s right, it’s time once again for me to sell some more Steam cards to Russian money launderers and play some more PC otome games!  I had bought this game as usual during one of the regular Steam sales…and didn’t realize that the next Taisho Alice game had come out recently as well.  So next time that one is also available for like seven cents I’ll also pick it up, but for now it’s just Cinderella and Little (Big?) Red Riding Hood.  This one’ll be shorter than usual since it’s only covering two routes out of full game, and again as usual I’ll include spoilers because this game came out like 5 years ago.

Otome Game Review: Spiral Memoria ~The Summer I Meet Myself~

In my continuing streak of boredom, I decided to buy Spiral Memoria off the English store due to it being on sale. I read that it was bad, but I was like eh my expectations are pretty low – how bad can it be? Ominous Voice: It was bad. The story is about a heroine named Miku who appears to have lost her memories and is now trying to find out the truth about herself.

Guest Review: Code Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~

Hello once again, mesubutas! Whomst among us does not enjoy a realized code? Unlike my earlier sojourns into girl gamer land, I did not purchase Code Realize in a 99% off Steam sale using the money I got from selling Steam cards that I got from idling in Crusader Kings 2 to Russian money launderers…but instead I did nab the Bouquet of Rainbows double edition (yes that’s right, this means that I will be playing the poruno fandisc shortly as well) during a random sale over the summer for about $20. Unfortunately for all of you, I never got to really get into it in earnest because shortly after purchasing it the ol’ ball and chain decided that she was going to required me to roll multiple new alts in FFXIV in case she wanted to take kissing screenshots for all the other alts she had. But fortunately for all of you, a few days ago I smashed her Diabolik Lovers mug and she got mad enough to no longer require me to keep playing with said alts and exiled me to the PS4 room to finish this (I should’ve been lauded for destroying an artifact from such a cursed franchise…) So anyway, here we gooooooooooooooooo! (Spoilers of course, but c’mon this game came out 6 years ago and all of you have already played it by this point anyway.)

Otome Game Review: Diamond Girl ~An Earnest Education in Love~

So out of extreme boredom due to lack of any otome games I want to play (and because I dropped Eden like a ton of bricks) I decided to browse the English Switch shop and purchased Diamond Girl. I remember seeing the advertising about the mobage 5 years ago but I didn’t wanna do the whole “read 5 chapters a day” thing so I forgot about it until now. Looks like they’ve ported the entire game and routes without any waiting to the switch for $20 in 3 languages – except Japanese. That’s right there is NO Japanese edition of this game! ( ゚д゚) Not only that but the mobile version has ended service 5 years ago too lol. The story is about our heroine Charlotte (default name apparently in the English version) who is some office lady but finds out she’s actually some hidden child of a rich dude. Now she has to become some ojousama and marry into an arranged marriage. She’s sent to live with 4 ikemans, one of which is her personal butler, in a luxurious mansion and is to train how to be a proper ojousama until it’s time to marry her fiance. Please note as this is a mobile game port, this game is unvoiced.
