LaTale Licensing Mystery

Ok it’s not that I play La-Tale nor do I give a crap about 2D side scrollers but I got an email today from AERIA inviting me to join their LaTale closed beta. Wait a minute…..I thought OGPlanet had the license to LaTale?! Is it possible for more than 1 company to own license to a game? I first thought OGP was dropping yet another game but looking @ OGP’s site it doesn’t seem like they’re dropping it anytime soon. If it IS indeed possible for more than 1 company to have rights to a game I’d be interested in hoping that GamepotUSA someday picked up Pangya and made it as awesome as Pangya JP… XD Oh well wishful thinking! 😀

Poupee Kitchen!

poopkitchen And so the latest Poupee Girl event is kitchen items! There’s a mass of aprons, forks, ladles and whisks for you to waste your ribbons on. I decided to be a cheapass and since I already had a dress with an apron on it (from Happy Bath Day), I only bought some accessories to go with it. I’m still waiting until we get some new yukatas…come on Kath you know you want to lol.

Also on June 22nd we’re getting our “my home” remodeled. It’s really a big change and it’ll take some time to get used to but I think it’ll be okay 😉

No respect left for PangyaUSBR

And well I don't blame them to be honest...

It’s gotten so bad that people are now hacking the client to type in blue text to impersonate multiple GMs. GameGuard hasn’t been updated in nearly 3 months now. A thread on the forum today about someone complaining that he’s sick of reporting hackers because it’s out of control – has been moved to off topic. Apparently complaints from loyal players about their unsatisfaction with a poorly run server is not relevant to Ntreev’s interests. 😆 Bugs are so bad lately, I login, switch to BP1, whisper to my friend to check if he’s online because he doesn’t show up on my buddy list. I asked Ntreev to have a maintenance this week to fix bugs, but I am not confident my request will be met. People’s quit rates are going up due to multiple disconnections from the server and game crashes. There have been multiple scam complaints because the mail system is eating the items.

I realize they are pushing for season 4 release which could put other things on the back burner…but the problems have reached a critical level. My interest in this game is starting to die again… -_-; Maybe it’s time to catch up on my anime backlog and continue my Otome Gaming…

Otome Game Review: Pet Detective Y’s

I’ve been meaning to play this game ever since I played Amedeo’s other games. This is an all ages game btw, something AMEDEO should just stick to doing honestly (no more juruu’s please xDDD) The heroine of the story is Futaba Yuuka, age 17, who was also Misuzu’s “best friend” character in Kare to Kare no Hazama de. Her uncle owns a pet detective agency and he goes on vacation or something so he asks her to take care of it, as well as the multitute of animals in there. (It’s like a zoo you got cats, hamsters, monkeys birds etc lol) Not to fret though, Yuuka isn’t alone because her uncle left her with his jigolo robot Barious. Apparently he was thrown out so her uncle picked him and uses him to cook/clean and stuff. xD Unfortunately Bari has tendencies to switch to jigolo mode and spray phermones everywhere lmao.
