Otome Game Review: Shinobi Koi Utsutsu ~Setsugekka Koi Emaki~

Welcome to the Vita port of my favorite game of 2014! Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed the original game, the “new” stuff just did not meet my expectations so this won’t be as a raving review as before. This review will only cover the new stuff, so for the original ninja action please check here. The story this time focuses on the 4 new ninjas Toyotomi Hidetora, Kirigakure Tadahito, Ukita Yoshiie and Hattori Hanzo. Toyotomi Hidetora, the next in line to be shogun, with his loyal servant Hattori Hanzo come to the ninja school and announce that the person who scores best on the next ninja exam will basically get a free pass to enter the Sanada Army loyal to the Toyotomi house. Ukita Yoshie crawls out from under a rock for some reason even though he’s been held back for like 3 years and is now 20 years old at the school (worse than Garaiya!!) Hidetora and Hanzo both announce that they will be students from this day on, mostly cause Hidetora ran around acting like an idiot and his parents wanted him to get trained to be a proper shogun. Unfortunately, Kaede is so shocked by finding out who Hidetora is, that all her training jumps out the window and her jutsu goes off STRONGER THAN EVER! Now anyone who is hit under it thinks that Kaede is already their girlfriend/wife lol. Sanada sensei tells everyone since they already have approval to join the Sanada Yuushitai, they are no longer eligible to be with Kaede! She must now choose from Hidetora, Hanzo, Ukita or Tadahito. It’s now up to Kaede to pick her destined dude to win and once again try to train her meromero jutsu under control!

Otome Game Review: Hanasaku Mani Mani

Wow this game was…something else but more on that in my final thoughts. ಠ_ಠ Our heroine Mochizuki Nao is blasted to the past of the Edo era at the bakumatsu period when they’re about to overthrow the shogun. She gets picked up by a historical bishie who brings her to Manjiya, a prostitute house where the geiko ladies can service men but without having to actually spread their legs. Guess it must be a high class one. ＼(^o^)／ Even though she starts working in the back, all the guys there suggest she start working “in the front” to service all the male customers instead. Otome Game Review: Binary Star

It’s 50 years into the future, in the country of Cloud. Cloud’s been plagued with a massive drug war on the drug called “Star” and has been ignored by other countries to help stop the spread. The drug, like any drug, has destroyed families and caused gang wars and mass murders. In order to combat the ongoing problem of both dealers and drug abusers (coined as “Stardust”), a team of “Angels” has been formed. These angels go around trying to capture and rehabilitate the drug abusers in order to help get to the root of the problem, and to put an end to the drug war. Our heroine, Sorano Fuu got involved in the drug war because her parents became dealers in order to support the family. Due to getting in a spat with another dealer, Fuu’s parents were killed when she was 7 years old. She was rescued by a pair of Angels and decided to then grow up and enroll in a special academy to become an Angel herself. Now 13 years later, Fuu is 20 and has graduated from the academy. She’s put in a team with 4 other Angels, Yun, Mict, Tchicai and Rayla and the leader Izuki, going on missions to try to find and capture the drug abusers in the town of Akatsuki. During the time spent with her team mates, she discovers more about their pasts with connections to her own. Lots of spoilery text ahead so skip to final thoughts to avoid as usual!

Otome Game Review: Shinobi, Koi Utsutsu

When Katagiri Kaede was 7 years old, her family was attacked by some ninja. Her mother & father died, but another ninja came to her rescue and took her to her grandmother to safety. Not knowing his name, Kaede was determined to also grow up to be a ninja and join the Sanada defense force so she could one day protect her loved ones, like how that ninja protected her. One day she runs into the principal of the famous Fujiwara Ninja Training School who tells her to enroll for free because he feels she has the talent to be a great ninja. Kaede is excited to start her first day, but on her first day, she accidentally sets off an illusion jutsu that makes guys fall head over heels for her! Coined as MeroMero Jutsu, Kaede charms any guy within the vicinity of her charm AOE! Because of this, Sanada sensei tells her to pick a guy to “train with” so she can get her jutsu under control and pass the midterm exam. Unfortunately because the guys she charms are the 6 most popular & capable dudes in the school, she’s the subject of bullying attacks from jealous bitches.

Otome Game Review: Diabolik Lovers -More Blood-

And so our heroine Komori Yui has been living with her abusive man-harem for some time and they are all fully aware of the power and source of her blood. One day on the way to school, their car has an accident and during the process Yui starts trippin’ balls and seeing Karl Heinz invading her brain telling her she is “Eve”. Upon arrival to school, she runs into 4 new half-vampire transfer students, the Mukami brothers. They are Kou, Ruki, Azusa and Yuma. The Sakamakis think that the Mukamis are after the power of Yui’s blood and decide to protect and watch over her. For you as the player, you get to pick which one will “protect” Yui during the game ( ´_ゝ｀).
