Otome Game Review: Tengoku Struggle -Strayside-

Enma Rin is the adopted daughter of the ruler of the underworld, Enma Daiou. She was a soul that committed a sin to be sent to hell but is an “utakata” and has no memories of her past life. After being adopted by hell daddy, who loves to adopt people and animals, she has gone through a lot of training to become a “hell graduate” to be a proper member of “hell society” and is also ruling over those who enter hell, deciding which “section” of hell they will be sent to. One day there’s a jail break and the prisoners not only break free, but they manage to escape their “sins” by using a special spider thread given to them by a former prisoner who was also purified of her sins. Unfortunately not only were their sins unfairly purified, but they also took the powers hell daddy has given them with them to the human world. Dad now tasks Rin, and his 4 adopted “pets” – aka former prisoners, to go to the human world and bring the escaped prisoners back. Unfortunately the 4 guys that go with her are a bunch of sexist douchebags from olden times, so now it’s up to Rin to train her man harem to help her with the mission dad gave her.😏 No worries though, she’s equipped with a taser and a ball biting cat mascot to keep them at bay. Since it’s THAT writer, trigger warnings for: Sexual assault, prostitution, necrophilia and vulgar language.

RPG Review: Tales of Vesperia -Definitive Edition-

So after playing Tales of Arise I got sucked into the Tales universe after another crazy Steam sale where these games, normally $50, were like $8 lol. I first began with Tales of Symphonia, but I basically ended up ragequitting after 1 night of archaic JRPG bullshittery and moved on to Vesperia. Fortunately Vesperia came with 2 free DLCs that boosted my stats and gave me crafting items to make weapons that I don’t get until end game if I were to do it the legit way. 😈 As usual my husband’s comments are in blue.

Otome Game Review: Variable Barricade

Since grandpa loves his grand-daughter, he wants her to marry ~for love~ so he specially picks out 4 guys for her to live with in a temporary house so she can pick the one to marry. Unfortunately her options are a marriage swindler, a gambling addict, a loan machine and well a male prostitute. All of them are unemployed bums and now Hibari is in living hell with them, along with her trusty long time butler Kasuga. However, as Hibari spends more time with these guys, there is more to them than meets the eye.

Otome Game Review: Moshi, Kono Sekai ni Kamisama ga Iru to Suru Naraba.

Title sounds like a light novel mouthful which means “If there is a god in this world then…” The title itself is pretty ironic at the things that go down in the story but that was probably Rejet’s intention. The story starts when Kurumi Haruka, a lonely high school girl is forced to be part of the school field trip committee with 4 guys. All 5 of them receive letters one day from “themselves” that have a strange “wish” written on it. None of them have any idea what’s going on until a series of strange incidents begin happening around them. To find the true plot of the game, massive spoilers after the jump. If you plan to play this I suggest just skipping to my final thoughts at the bottom. If you do decide to read the spoilers, be warned, this isn’t for the faint of heart. Also warning: lots of text walls. Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Moshi, Kono Sekai ni Kamisama ga Iru to Suru Naraba.”
