Otome Game Review: Kenka Bancho Otome

Nakayama Hinako has lived her entire life at an orphanage, learning combat arts for fun (and self defense.) On her first day of high school, she bumps into her long lost twin brother Hikaru. Of course this is all just as keikaku by Hikaru because as it turns out, the two of them are children of a yakuza family. Hikaru’s father wants him to beat up all the 1st and 2nd year students and become the “bancho” of the school in order to show the pride of the Onigashima family. Unfortunately Hikaru would rather cross dress like a girl, eat ice cream and go shopping. Luckily for him, Hinako can actually kick ass so he blackmails her by pretending to “bump” into her and get hurt. He claims that if she doesn’t crossdress as a boy and go to the Shishiku boys school in his place, he will force her to pay his medical fees. 😂 Hinako doesn’t wanna get the stink eye from the Yakuza and she’s happy she found some form of family so she agrees. She ends up (being forced) to move in to a small apartment with her brother and his manservant Sakaguchi who takes care of the twins meals & transportation (though mostly Hikaru’s.) It doesn’t take long, but Hinako ends up kicking ass of the strongest guys at the school, and gaining a ton of fanboys as she becomes the bancho of Shishiku high. How long will she be able to keep her identity a secret?

Otome Game Review: The Wizard & the Master

From the graveyard of Quin Rose, I’ve finally picked up & finished Wizard & Master! I originally had the PC version but I couldn’t get started on it because I didn’t want to deal with yet another grueling battle/stat raiser system like Crimson Empire or Arabian’s Lost. Thankfully Quin Rose made the Vita port a straight VN but just like with Alice, it was at the cost of a lot of CGs on the chopping block. (;´・ω・) Oh well our story begins in the country of Rune Venus where everyone can use magic – everyone except our heroine Alicia who has 0 magic powers (or so she thinks.) In order to inherit the throne, princess Alicia has 25 weeks to find a powerful wizard husbando or else she gets sent back to the countryside and loses her inheritance. It’s a fateful half a year, will Alicia be able to secure her wizard ikeman? 😆

Otome Game Review: Queen of Flowers

Let’s see how many people dismiss this post because I translated Reine des Fleurs from French to English . Honestly, I cannot take this game seriously. It was very difficult for me to write this review. As I am writing this post after finishing the game I wish I could jump back in time and cancel my preorder. I’m not even gonna bother summarizing the story here because the entire thing is a sham and coverup for the real truth behind the whole game. If you wish to see the truth behind what really happens, read after the jump at your own risk. Warning: Extreme rage and sarcasm ahead. Though honestly, you should just spoil yourself to give yourself a reason to never play this game and just buy the artbook for Kagerou’s pretty artworks….as that is basically this game’s only SAVING GRACE (PUN INTENDED) (;´Д`) Everyone else feel free to skip to my final rage thoughts. But remember folks, just because I didn’t like it, doesn’t mean that YOU shouldn’t like it. This is after all just my personal opinion and experience with the game! Otome Game Review: Diabolik Lovers -More Blood-

And so our heroine Komori Yui has been living with her abusive man-harem for some time and they are all fully aware of the power and source of her blood. One day on the way to school, their car has an accident and during the process Yui starts trippin’ balls and seeing Karl Heinz invading her brain telling her she is “Eve”.  Upon arrival to school, she runs into 4 new  half-vampire transfer students, the Mukami brothers. They are Kou, Ruki, Azusa and Yuma.  The Sakamakis think that the Mukamis are after the power of Yui’s blood and decide to protect and watch over her. For you as the player, you get to pick which one will “protect” Yui during the game ( ´_ゝ`).

Otome Game Review: Dot Kareshi: We’re 8bit Lovers! ~Densetsu no Otome~

This is the first of a 3 game series by Rejet. The heroine is basically you, some high school girl who’s played her 8bit RPG game called Ultimate Quest and got all her characters to level 99. Unfortunately you really suck at RPGs and you’ve made your knight, mage, priest and thief suffer death multiple times and screwed up all their stats! 😆 Now your RPG 8 bit mans are angry that you’ve abandoned them and they suck you into the game via a bug that was inserted by the developers. The only way to get out is to complete 1 quest and so you have to pick whose quest you’re gonna complete to return home.
