I figured I’ve got enough games under my belt to start doing these top 10 posts. I shall begin this series with the worst otome game systems I’ve ever sat through. I’d like to give a shout out to Broccoli and KamiAso Infinite (for having annoying quizzes that affect my trophy collection) to inspire me to write this post. (ﾟ∀ﾟ) Remember, none of these games should ever be attempted without a walkthrough ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)✨.

The words Nil Admirari mean “to be surprised by nothing” in latin which I guess perfectly the describes the fantasy story & twists that happen in this game. The word tenbin means scales so I’m guessing the title translates vaguely to “the balance of no surprises”. The subtitle refers to the roaring 20s “empire” in Tokyo, that the story takes place in and refers to it as ~gorgeous~ but that’s a coverup for the dirty truth underneath. Kuze Tsugumi’s family has been struggling financially so she’s decided to try to help her family by marrying some rich guy, despite the protests of her clingy otoutokun. Shit gets weird when one night her brother Hitaki mumbles crazy shit and then sets himself on fire. (He doesn’t die just goes into a coma and has a fever at the hospital.) Apparently a book that he read cause him to do this and it’s known from previous incidents according to 2 detectives who come to her house. After this event it seems like Tsugumi sees an aura-like fire on the book when no one else does. They ask her to join their police force unit Fukurou so they can use her powers to help find more of these cursed books(希モノ). They offer her a salary and a place to live and since her engagement appears to be called off, she cuts her long hair off & joins them. Her job is mostly to go around bookstores and check to make sure there’s no cursed books there. And while spending time with the guys at Fukurou, she’s about to learn some things that she was never taught in school ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Technically I didn’t complete all the trophies, but at this point it’s just a grind fest for items so I figured I can post enough of a review to describe the game itself. Miku & friends are back to dance and sing on flashy stages one more time.
Title sounds like a light novel mouthful which means “If there is a god in this world then…” The title itself is pretty ironic at the things that go down in the story but that was probably Rejet’s intention. The story starts when Kurumi Haruka, a lonely high school girl is forced to be part of the school field trip committee with 4 guys. All 5 of them receive letters one day from “themselves” that have a strange “wish” written on it. None of them have any idea what’s going on until a series of strange incidents begin happening around them. To find the true plot of the game, massive spoilers after the jump. I guess now that all the fujoshis have moved on to Osomatsu-san, the Broccoli fujobait wagon has lost its fuel and so in a desperate attempt to make money, they decided to try and please their otome fans once more. With this they released UtaPri music 3, which is actually a lot like Music 1 but more Cero A~ish because the randyness of the original UtaPri game has been lost somewhere along the way. Unfortunately for anyone who has played the previous 2 music games, there’s nothing new in store for you so this is just more of the same. More after the jump!
