Otome Game Review: Period Cube ~Torikago no Amadeus~

Hanamiya Kazuha got hit by a car when she was little which caused brain damage and memory lapses. She’s been able to live her daily life fairly normally despite having gaps in her memories. One day her childhood friend Hiroya tells her that her brother Shiki has been MIA for a few days. The two of them think he might be sucked into an MMO game called Arcadia – on server V – where if you login to the server, your body goes into a coma and your soul is “inside” the game. Hiroya then tells Kazuha to make an alt on her brother’s account and join the fun but…our heroine apparently barely knows how to use a computer let alone play an online MMORPG. On top of it, server V is a PK server full of high level players and somehow Kazuha has access to godly powers that allow her to basically wipe out everything in sight. So now while she’s trying to find her oniichan, every player is out to get her to join their party so they can clear the end game dungeon – the Hakobune – in order to log their soul out of Server V. Unfortunately their time is limited because something called the “Death Cloud” is running around basically wiping all the data off the server. Otome Game Review: Kyoukai no Shirayuki

Akagami Mashiro climbed & fell off a pomegranate tree when she was younger but miraculously awakened. Now many years later, she’s attending university while she works part time job at an ice cream store. She goes to a mirror exhibit at a museum with her friend Ataru and the mirror on the wall talks to her bringing her to an “Insanity World” filled with various mirrors. The voice in the mirror then says that Mashiro is the “Snow White” who has to save one of her “dwarves” and based on the mirror she chooses, it will decide who the one being saved will be. Nonsensical intro because the truth is in the spoilers so skip those and jump to my final thoughts if you don’t want to see!

Otome Game Review: Kenka Bancho Otome

Nakayama Hinako has lived her entire life at an orphanage, learning combat arts for fun (and self defense.) On her first day of high school, she bumps into her long lost twin brother Hikaru. Of course this is all just as keikaku by Hikaru because as it turns out, the two of them are children of a yakuza family. Hikaru’s father wants him to beat up all the 1st and 2nd year students and become the “bancho” of the school in order to show the pride of the Onigashima family. Unfortunately Hikaru would rather cross dress like a girl, eat ice cream and go shopping. Luckily for him, Hinako can actually kick ass so he blackmails her by pretending to “bump” into her and get hurt. He claims that if she doesn’t crossdress as a boy and go to the Shishiku boys school in his place, he will force her to pay his medical fees. 😂 Hinako doesn’t wanna get the stink eye from the Yakuza and she’s happy she found some form of family so she agrees. She ends up (being forced) to move in to a small apartment with her brother and his manservant Sakaguchi who takes care of the twins meals & transportation (though mostly Hikaru’s.) It doesn’t take long, but Hinako ends up kicking ass of the strongest guys at the school, and gaining a ton of fanboys as she becomes the bancho of Shishiku high. How long will she be able to keep her identity a secret?
