Otome Game Review: Soshite Kono Sora ni Kirameku Kimi no Uta XXX

So the XXX stands for kiss kiss kiss rather than porn…I don’t think they thought about their naming idea all the way through 😆 So anyway fandisk time! There are some positives over the last game. The CG quality has improved (slightly) and the choices are no longer timed. The cutouts in the dialogue box match the standing ones in the middle now too. Unfortunately there’s only about 24 CGs total and they completely removed the heroine’s voice. Bummer. That means I can’t go multi tasking or I miss half the dialogue ┐(‘~`;)┌ Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Soshite Kono Sora ni Kirameku Kimi no Uta XXX”

Otome Game Review: Soshite Kono Sora ni Kirameku Kimi no Uta

I didn’t realize this game got 1 star ratings on Amazon Japan until I was almost done with the first route….and I could definitely agree with everything that was said. But you know me and my thing for playing terrible otome games so I plowed through it anyway! 😆  The story is about a girl named Rumina who is the princess of the Saint Foria space colony (pardon the spelling I’m sure I butchered all these Katakana names.) This colony is located in an enclosed space. Rumina is pretty ignorant being a princess and all and has no idea that the people of her kingdom are suffering – until she runs out of the castle one day to see what the common folk are doing. She then gets to travel the universe and even meet the King of Gaia (aka earth) where she learns that people should not be treated as slaves and actually PAID for their work! (something our current US economy could learn but anyway *cough). So yea since she’s a princess and all, she’s gotta marry some rich dude so the kingdoms can merge and we avoid international intrigue over war and wealth! Otome Game Review: Your Memories Off -Girls Style-

The story is about a girl named Tsukioka Umi who’s in her last year of high school and one day her otaku classmate invites her to go to a live band show by a local college band. She’s very impressed by it and then it so happens that she meets the band members at her part time job at a cafe. She asks if she can go watch them practice and she ends up singing with them. They are all impressed, especially the leader Shunichi that he asks if she can join their band and so she becomes their lead singer. Umi also has a pet bunny named Sora who I think gets more CGs than he deserves lol but let’s get rolling. Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Your Memories Off -Girls Style-“

Otome Game Review: Moujuutsukai to Oujisama

The story takes place in some European-escue country with our heroine Tiana. Tiana wants to be a pro beast-master like her mother but her mom and dad are always out somewhere so she sadly has to spend most of her time living and training on her own. She has a whistle that she uses to tame most animals so when a tiger gets lose in town she’s able to make it fall asleep with a blow of her whistle. One day while on her way home she runs into some man selling animals for “dinner”. The cage of animals contains a lion, a duck, a wolf and a rabbit – not exactly a 3 course meal here 😆 The animals look sick and tired and she feels sorry for them so she trades her treasured brooch for them. She figured they would be a great way to practice taming some beasts! XD When she gets home she realizes the animals are very tame and it’s almost like they understand everything she is telling them – then finally the lion speaks human language. Tiana is shocked but then finds out that they were originally humans who got cursed and turned into animals. They ask for her cooperation to help them turn back to human and so her adventures begin! Otome Game Review: Kaeru Batake de Tsukamaete ・ Natsu Chigira Sansen!

So here we have the fandisk for Kaerubatake! I don’t know if Takuyo got fan input or what but the design of this was so much better in every way! For example you get to run through the after story and another story just like a VN without having to torture yourself with mini games. If you want bonus omakes like an extra illustration or some bonus voices then you gotta beat the characters in poker and black jack. (Both games I suck at so good thing I have my husband to tell me what to do! 😆 ) The point is, it was very enjoyable. The artist leveled up and the CGs were of much better quality than before (especially the profile pics.) There were also nice bonuses like detailed interviews with the characters such as what they like, dislike, etc. Additionally! If you left Fuu’s name default, the characters all said her name! Hallelujah! This way we’re not always hearing “anta” or “omae” 😆 While I had beef with the first game, I cannot say enough great things about how much I enjoyed the fandisk.
