Well well well, you know what time it is! It’s time for the Steam Halloween sale, and that means time to get some more otome games on sale! I’m guessing that since it was Halloween and all, they put 7’sCarlet on sale since it’s 3 spoopy 5 U, so I snatched it up and once and a while played it (frequently interrupting my playthrough of course to make snide backseat commentary on the Twitch streams of the REAL games for REAL gamers, of course.)

Otome Game Review: Hyakka Hyakurou ~Sengoku Ninpoucho~ (Nightshade)
Enju is kunoichi who’s been training for years and is now set to go to her first mission in Kyoto. Little did she know that she would be the center of a feudal lord murder conspiracy. Otome Game Review: Arabians Doubt
It’s been 8 years and Quin Rose has gone bankrupt but I ran out of games and I realized I never played the FD of this game so here we are! Aileen reached her money goal and thought she was free but her mom owned her ass by telling her the entire time she was gathering money they had secretly had royal guards making sure nobody attacked her. They tell her that her position as Gilkhatar’s princess is not going to change and by her not becoming the ruler, someone else will and will almost certainly try to kill her to get her out of “way”. Her parents decide to go on a long honeymoon (aka run away from their responsibilities) with no plans to return and tell her to “do as she pleases” but she knows she can’t just abandon her kingdom. On top of that we get a new character, Jared, who is her arranged fiance and continuously cockblocks every single route. Also now we get a name and face for Aileen’s ex boyfriend Theodore.
Otome Game Review: Fantasy Cafe Enchante
Awaki Kotone decides to take over her late grandpa’s cafe Enchante and instead finds herself surrounded by non-human ikemans from another world who were regulars when grandpa was the master. She had quit her job because it was insanely stressful and mentally abusive. The cafe basically serves only the non human guys and because it has a magic barrier around it that makes normal humans not notice its location. Some of them also live there and pay rent in rare items from beyond this world worth thousands of yen.
Otome Game Review: Nil Admirari no Tenbin ~Kuroyuri Enyoutan~
So I thought this was gonna be some randy FD to the first game but turns out it was even more involved plotline about cursed books and revenge. The black lilly flower apparently means revenge and that seems to be the focus in a lot of the routes as well as the true (??) ending. The game takes place 1 year after Tsugumi joined Fukuro. Spoilers ahead after the jump.
