Pangya 5th Anniversary Project: New Course “Eastern Valley”

valley01 Well looks like I lost Rich’s naming contest but anyway. 😆 Pangya Japan’s 5th anniversary is November 11th and by then they should be releasing this new course on their server. I’m assuming Korea will be getting this as well but I cannot confirm.

There will be 5 new additions to the game:

1. New Course “EasternValley”
2. Title system (temp name)
3. Cut In system (temp name)
4. A new recycle system (temp name)
5. Items that allow you to change appearance in the chatrooms (maybe you can look like a caddie!)

I wonder if recycle system means you can recycle old cash shop items you no longer want? Or perhaps recycling gacha rares you don’t want (like uncle daisuke’s wet suit 😆 ) The course is supposed to be beginner friendly so I’m gonna assume it will be a 2 or 3 star. There’s no other info in the press release but I’m sure during the next few months we’ll be hearing more about it. I’m not sure if this is considered “season 5” or not as they didn’t specify it – but I wouldn’t be surprised. This is pretty exciting! 😀

The event I’ve been waiting for all summer is here – but because Katherine’s greed has reached a whole new level, each yukata is minimum 200 ribbons =_=; If you’re not a yukata fan at least the cotton candy, shaved ice & goldfish are definitely awesome items worth purchasing. I had 500ribbons saved up so I bought the yukata & geta. Reusing an obi from one of my other yukatas xD; At night the sky has fireworks but its daytime for me here hence the blue sky background. There’s candy apples and shoulder humping bears in the jewel shop but the jewel items are pretty damn expensive too. It’s like you’d think if we’re spending real money on this shit they’d at least be cheaper.

Oh well I’m still playing poupee jewel free.

PangyaUN Update: Cards and…Feathers? +_+…

Hi, if you are angry that I called this server Pangya UN – well it’s my blog and frankly I don’t give a fuck? Feathers, again? We had them at the end of S3A18, we had them in the S3 beta and now….again!? Wait, maybe this is a good thing since I have a feather for every female char except Lucia and well I don’t care about Lucia since she’s just another money bag for Ntreev. Poupee Girl Ribbon & Jewel Changes

So last night the Jewel system was implemented. As expected, Katherine promptly opened up the Jewel only shop and I’m kinda glad none of the items in it really appealed to me. In addition the jewel items cost the same as they did back in ribbon currency. You’d think they’d either make that cost cheaper or at least make the items decently better. Maybe in her eyes the items are better, but I’ve seen some nice stuff in the flea market that I’d rather purchase instead. In addition there are now more ways to get ribbons:

You get 10 ribbons just for logging in daily, in addition to your daily 10 ribbon snapshot.
The dress up bonus is now 30 ribbons instead of 10
Each time you leave a comment on someone’s item you get 2 ribbons, but if someone leaves a comment on your item you still only get 1 ribbon.

To me, this is pretty awesome. This means I can get a lot more ribbons now and with less stuff to spend it on, it means I can save up ribbons for better items when Katherine releases them for ribbon only Poupees. The only thing I fear is now she’ll make all the ribbon items 2 or 3x more expensive than before (200 ribbon balloons and ice cream cones anyone?) For now, I’ll be sticking to Poupee, but if it gets TOO awful then yea I’ll probably quit.

Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Summer~

Similarly to the spring version, the heroine is…YOU. No. The heroine is Yohisa Tsukiko and it feels really weird because all the guys from the previous games still go to her school but they’re basically background characters. In addition, there have been cameo appearances made by characters who will be in the autumn and winter games 😆 This time the story takes place from June – August, and the main focus is Tsukiko is now a member of the archery club where she gets to snag the top 3 arrow shooting bishies. I’ve been requested to tell what signs the guys are so….Azusa is Sagittarrius, Ryunosuke is Scorpio (like me!), and Homare is Taurus. The thing is – based on their birthdates though, Homare should be Gemini, Ryunosuke should be Sagittarius. Azusa is ok though he just makes the cut off date.
