Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Winter~

Well this is the final game in the Starry Sky series. It’s a bit sad because you know there won’t be anymore new bishies, but frankly I’m so sick of Tsukiko being a 12 timing whore!! 😆 Okay well obviously the game is fantasy but geez they could have totally used like a different girl in each game just for a change…or perhaps at least not add the fact that all the guys from the previous games are all still there. Like yea hi you totally married me in the spring game, but now I’m attending your wedding with some guy from the winter game. かなしすぐるウワァァ—–。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。—–ン!!!! The game takes place now around Tsukiko’s student council activities, which they did mention in the previous games but obviously it wasn’t the focus at the time. Anyway dramatic sarcasm aside, enjoy the winter review. As always spoilers ahead, and download/CG requests will be deleted with extreme burning hatred of 1000 suns.

Starry Sky to be made into an anime!!

Heard it first from Keo via twitter and did some googling to find a Japanese blog entry on it. Looks like it will be from the same director as Vampire Knight so expect very smexy bishies, but hopefully with less angst. The magazine scan from the blog shows only the Spring guys but hopefully they will include everyone. On the downside, it’s very unlikely that Tsukiko will end up with anyone because then 11 guys will end up crying.

Oh well as long as I get my dose of Homare-senpai~ (〃ω〃)

Reorganization @_@;

Nice bug. :lol:
Nice bug. 😆

It has come to my attention that I’m playing too many games *_*;; Need to reorganize myself a little here. Let’s go down the list of what my current/future plans are for these games (and this blog.)

aisp@ce – Recently they released the water shooting game but I think in order to have any decent shooting power you gotta buy the super expensive nicopoint cosplay. As of October, it’s been 1 year since I began aisp@ce and well it’s pretty much boring. You just buy cash items and chat and that’s about it. The water shooting was supposed to add some spice to the game and I could have sworn they wanted to add a new island but when I logged on the shooting didn’t even work and 1 year later, no new island. I’m thinking around November or so I’ll finally uninstall this thing. Continue reading “Reorganization @_@;”

Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Autumn~

And so we’re back with the fall season game. Just as the others it features Tsukiko and her 3 eligible bachelors – in this case, her teachers. As expected one of the main “plotlines” of the game is just that – she’s a student, they’re teachers, IT’S A FORBIDDEN RELATIONSHIP! The thing is it doesn’t feel that bad to me because 2 of them are younger than me and one of them is the same age as my husband xDDD. There’s a couple weird things though. Suzuya and Kanata are still around to “look out” after Tsukiko in text form but they never have any dialogue on or off screen (although they do appear in one of the CGs.) The other thing is that Tsukiko mentions how Yoh went back to France but she also said this in the Summer game and boom he’s there in the background of Cgs in both this and the summer game. Talk about inconsistency lol. While it appears that Tsukiko continues her archery club activities, only the teacher in charge is ever mentioned (obviously since he’s one of the main characters) but the 3 summer boys do appear in one of the CGs. (Homare senpai (´;ω;`)) Anyway spoilers & stuff after the jump!

Otome Game Review: Garnet Cradle

What happens if you take Fushigi Yuugi and combine it with Hanasakeru Seishounen? You get this otome game. The story is about a very ojou-sama type heroine who her best friend and brother call “hime-sama”. She also gets picked for some important main lead role in the traditional school play. She’s also one of the top school students and the class president of her class. Hell even the randy nurse man hits on her. She’s got 2 close female friends Nono-chan and Tsubaki-chan – although Tsubaki is actually an important role in one of the routes while Nono is just the “supportive best friend” character. One day she chases some black nuko and ends up in some arabian country that she read about in her play book (hence the FY reference.) Apparently she’s some shrine maiden princess who will save that country (hurr) and make the prince there a king.  During the night in the other world she ends up back at home in her world. Then when she goes to sleep at night in her world, she’s back in arabian country land. And so our story begins. (Warning: Major spoilers ahead, name butchering follows.)
