Well it’s my usual once a year galge time, and after playing the demo, I decided to get the Vita port of ImaImo. Our protagonist Mitani Rikuto has been living with his father for many years after his mother died a while back. Right before starting high school, Rikuto’s father Naoma tells him that he’s remarried and Rikuto will be getting a new step “brother”. No matter how he looks at it, his new “brother” Ayumu looks like a sister and for no good reason has to dress as a girl when going to school. Poor Ayumu just wants to tell her new oniichan, that she’s not his little brother, but his little sister. On the first day of school, Rikuto realizes that Ayumu is the “girl” he fell in love at first sight with during the entrance exam results announcements.

Galge Review: Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ CS Edition
I decided to take a break from otome gaming (thanks to Amnesia Crowd) and while playing RO2 on the side I also picked up Tomoyo After. I’ve always been curious about the game in the past and when I found out the PSP port has the protag voiced by Nakamura Yuichi I figured why not? It’s only 1 route, since it’s really just like Nagisa’s after story in Clannad except this time, it’s for Tomoyo. Sadly, unlike Nagisa, Tomoyo does not get her happy ending or any kind of miracle. Major story spoilers ahead so skip to my final thoughts to avoid them.

Galge Review: Love, Election & Chocolate
Since elections in America happened recently I figured this would be an appropriate game to play (plus I saw the anime so I was curious!) Oojima Yuuki attends a rich elite Takafuji Gakuen where it’s pretty much guaranteed that if you go here you’ll get into a good company to work. He is in the food research club but all they do there is eat candy and slack off (along with the teacher who handles it.) Yuuki’s not the strongest of protagonists since his father passed away and mother is almost never home due to work. He’s always getting the run around by his childhood friend Chisato and is pretty much your average Gary Stu. When the student council elections are coming up, one of the candidates Shinonome Satsuki wants to shut down any clubs without any real purpose. Since the food research club is a bunch of b/s they’re on the chopping block. To combat this, everyone in the club shoves Yuuki to run for president. Yuuki runs away crying like a little pansy until Chisato yells at him convincing him to be a man and win that election! Unfortunately running for president isn’t all it’s cracked out to be especially when there is a huge issue of bullying that plagues the school.

Galge Review: AIR
Our hero Kunisaki Yukito comes to a town to try and earn money with his puppet play. Unfortunately the kids laugh at him and the doll gets blown away somewhere. While he’s looking for it like a bum without any luck until he runs into a blonde haired girl named Misuzu. She demands that he hang out with her because she appears to be bored out of her mind and the only way she gets him to come along is by offering him food because he’s a starving bum. She offers him to stay at her house since she knows he has nowhere to go, and even though he protests, Misuzu says that he’s her friend so it’s okay. The mom isn’t too thrilled but she lets him stay in the shed as long as he watches over Misuzu while she’s at work. As Yukito spends more time in this town, he discovers the past ties with her while looking for a “girl in the sky”. The Ps2 version had Yukito voiced by Midorikawa Hikaru which definitely gave the game a lot more life. Also fortunately unlike Kanon, it actually had automode.Well this is as much spoilers as I’m going to give in the intro so click to read them all….or just skip to my final thoughts!

Galge Review: Wind -a breath of heart-
Okano Makoto, a milk loving hentai, has made a promise with his loli childhood friend Minamo, before he moved that they would meet again. So now 10 years later he’s now moved to his mother’s hometown with his sister and he runs into his childhood friend on the roof of the school building. She’s recently moved into this town as well because her father was born here too. In that town some people can use a special “power” to do various things. For example, Minamo can make the wind blow and Hinata can jump high but Makoto has no idea what his power is or if he even has one. Minamo’s dad tries to figure out why people have these powers, when strange things and mysterious illnesses prevail. Anyway I’ve actually played the ero version back in 2002 but yea my Japanese was crap back then so I decided to replay the PS2 version so I could understand the story better & check out all the new scenes that were inserted to replace the pointles pr0n :P. Probably spoilers ahead so skip to final thoughts to avoid them as usual. Continue reading “Galge Review: Wind -a breath of heart-“
