You know normally when I think, of “first 174 players to enter” I’m under the assumption that there will be a 100 or 200 person rooms and a bunch of GMs inside or something.

I don’t fucking think of this:

If I fucking knew it was gonna be this shit, I wouldn’t have even fucking bothered. Are you kidding me? What if that’s a fake room? It’s not labeled GM. How the fuck do I know it’s real? It fills up so fast I can’t even get in. What the fuck is the point of this shit? To see whose ping time is the fastest?

Also what the fuck swimsuits. Kooh’s swimsuit gives +3 control so its like 100k in the shops but Kaz’s gives +4 control so it’s like 200k. I just want Kaz’s swimsuit for his man nipples but I have to now pay extra because SGI can’t even fucking fix their event bugs. Lol you made all swimsuits sellable? Cool. Did you actually look at the uneven stats on all of them? Oh that’s right you’re busy with your heads up your asses. You fucking steal Pangya Japan’s tournament system, but unlike your half assed shit, everyone on Pangya Japan can sign up, get a room number, password and time so

EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE TO PLAY.

But ah yes how STUPID of me to have ANY expectations for this shitty server and shitty game. Dear god I haven’t even logged into this shit until the stupid swimsuit event

While I’m bitching, I’m fucking sick of going into tourneys and hearing people talk about how they missed a putt, got a par, got a bogey. I DON’T FUCKING CARE. WHY DO YOU MAKE ME REACH OVER & TURN CHAT OFF EVERY TIME. MY GUILD MEMBERS PROLLY THINK I’M A DICK BECAUSE I ALWAYS IGNORE GUILD CHAT CAUSE I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY SHUT IT OFF.

SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY NOBODY CARES THAT YOU SUCK AT PANGYA.

Ugh I’m so fucking sick of this game and this server and its half assed staff. Also those of you who got into the tourney and are actually GOOD at pangya HAVE FUN WITH THAT cause if you’re TOO good they’ll ban you LOL. Unless you’re Whoopsy and you are “okay in their book” no matter how good you play. Lol whatever I am permanently done with GM events. This game is so fucking irritating. No let me rephrase that, this server is fucking irritating therefore making me hate this game.

  1. Yes you can play with up to 4 people on it. The wii is really hard to hit Pangya on though. I think if I just ignore SGI’s bullshit/events and only login to play with friends, its not so bad ..but the moment I try to do any of their gay ass events you get this kind of shit meh whatever.

  2. Meh, I just stick to Pangya PSP. By the way, I believe you mentioned you have the wii version of it, can you play with two people offline? I would like to play it with my oneesan, but I never wanted to join the mmo versions that spam you with buy items and lotteries and the like, and reading your blog didn’t encourage me one bit.

  7. I don’t think it’s “lately” they’ve been like this ever since they opened up Pangya USA in 2009. I don’t know about Thailand or Korea but in Japanese tourneys 99% of the time its dead silent. The tourney will have like 30 people and it will be DEAD SILENT after the flood of yoroshikus at the beginning.

    yea I hate the seller spam. what’s worse is most of it is in some foreign language *(usually spanish or indonesian these days). It’s like who the hell is gonna buy from you DURING A TOURNEY. Yea brainless idiots etc.

    I don’t know why so many fucking idiots play Pangya but that’s why I just can’t take this game seriously. A lot of my guildmates think that this server is gold but I think it’s just because they don’t understand English as well so most of SGI’s ignorance just goes over their heads…i guess sometimes ignorance is bliss after all 😆

  8. I feel pretty bad for all of those experienced players. Not being able to enter in an official tourney because it’s a ‘first come, first serve’ thing, which will probably fill up with people wanting to suck up to the GMs rather than compete. And second, because if they aren’t very popular/familiar with the locals and they make some out-of-this-world shot, they are instantly given the BANHAMMER.

    I have to admit, SGI has been pretty…slacking…lately. Almost every update/notice has some sort of typo. Maintenance being pushed back for several hours. Screw ups in events, like the current one. And things just…generally not making sense.

    Just once, I would like to experience the atmosphere of the other Pangya servers. Whether it’s Japan, Korea or Thai, I’m sure they all have a much more mature and friendly atmosphere and not “OMG I MADE A PAR. AWW BOGEY. DERP. I THINK YOU GUYS SHOULD CARE MORE ABOUT MY SCORE THAN YOUR OWN LOLZ” in every single tourney.

    Also, there have been more and more people coming in tourneys and SPAMMING WHAT THEY’RE SELLING LIKE THEY’RE IN THE FREAKING QUMA SERVER. And then when you politely recommend that they take their spamming macros to Quma, what do they do? Curse you out, call you names like YOU’RE the idiot. I swear, there should be IQ tests before you’re able to play a Free to Play game or something.

  9. most people who play on Global Pangya are from either
    1. Europe
    2. Indonesia
    3. Mexico
    4. Brazil

    There’s almost no US players which is why during US peak hours the servers are practically empty and during US morning/afternoon both BP1 & 2 are full.

  10. In my country, kids are more into basketball than golf, which is why Pangya PH quickly folded up before the more popular Freestyle followed in several years later.

Rich> well I basically asked my guild (which is pretty much all Japanese lol) and the answers I got were “The scratchies are sellable, something to play during Japan’s maintenance, to learn English”. Like you said, the description was incredibly misleading. They also combined the “3 rooms” amount of people per server. I wasn’t the only one confused. Everyone in Quma 3 was like “uh are those fake rooms? Let’s wait for a GM room” and then after the 3 rooms were created everyone was like “uh…wtf?” So yea it wasn’t just me. Man nipples are the in thing now – even in Tartaros! 😆

    Kyu> Yea I’m more annoyed at their unclear description than the actual amount of players. If I knew in advance that it was going to just be 3 , 30 person rooms I wouldn’t even have bothered since I know I’d never get into those. It just pisses me off that it’s so poorly handled to begin with and then they give unclear descriptions to confuse & piss off a lot of players.

    It was just my fault for having ANY hopes of anything decent out of them. Silly me! ／(^o^)＼ﾅﾝﾃｺｯﾀｲ

  13. Just to make it clear not that i like Ntreev at all in fact i hate then from the bottom of my soul
    but in that case i cant blame then
    a friend of mine told me that SSC does not support more than 30players he said that he heard from a Japanese GM
    well but yeah like rich said they should made the announcement as “First 29 players to enter each rooms” to make it clear
    i thought that kinda weird when i saw “first 174” i was like “174 wth”

  14. Well it does indicate “3 rooms” but I can see where the first 174 players can be very misleading. To be honest, I didn’t even see that until I looked at it again. “First 29 players to enter each rooms” description would have suffice.

    It’s sometimes annoying a little bit on Korea when people going “삑” (ppic) constantly. I usually CTRL + C and then skim through the chat log when I’m on the last hole. I’m too busy focusing on the game to read what others are saying.

    While on the subject, I’ve been meaning to ask you if you know anything about why I see a handful of Japanese players playing on Global. I can tell from several blogs and even casting it on JTV. I’m sure there’s a reason, but it definitely can’t be because Global service is better than Japan.

    (Even I was surprised Lucia doesn’t have nipples too)
