Otome Game Review: Teikoku no Kareido -Kakumei no Rondoー

In my continuation of Operahouses’s kusoge ports, I’ve finally crawled through (at snail speed) the Charming Empire. As usual, there’s an English version available on Steam but I played the Vita port with some new derpy CGs and bonus scenarios. An empire princess named Kousaka Amane has been living her whole life in the boonies with grandma and grandpa. One day her emperor oniichan orders her to be taken to his European style mansion (in the Taisho era 😂) where she will be forced to learn the ways of royalty so she can become a fit wife and queen. When Amane begs grandma and grandpa to save her they just look away and wave goodbye 😂😂. She gets bored of this shitty life of being locked up studying in her room all day so she finds a hidden exit to outside the mansion and uses it to run into town and meet some hot taisho ikemans. Mobile Game Review: Yumeiro Cast

So because recently there was an announcement for an Idolish 7 anime, I decided to step foot into mobile idol game black hole. 😂 Unfortunately the I7 music game made me nauseated and none of the character interactions really drew me in. Someone on twitter suggested I try out Yumeiro Cast which has individual romance scenarios with all the guys + heroine and a more simplified music game. I was drawn in by the music game, the romance scenarios and the artwork courtesey of Fifs, the artist who worked on Prince of Stride!

Otome Game Review: Kamigami no Asobi -Infinite-

Broccoli absolutely does NOT want me posting links to their promotion videos ಠ_ಠ

So everyone is probably wondering what the hell this game actually is. Is it a sequel? A fandisk? A remake? Broccoli couldn’t figure this out either so they made it an all in one disaster. The game takes place as if the previous game never happened – it’s one giant reset. The difference is, this time the “main” chunk of the game are the 4 sub characters: Akira, Dionysos, Thor & Melissa. Meanwhile, all the previous gods just get a half assed route similar to the Rainbow route in Utapri All Star. Anyway more complaints in the final thoughts, but for now enjoy the copy pasta that is this game. For anyone who hasn’t played the first game basically Yui is just thrown into god school to teach the gods about humans and love and she just accepts it cause her life on earth has little value apparently.

Otome Game Review: Prince of Stride

Sakurai Nana is a farm girl from Hokkaido who transfers to Hounan high school in order to join the Stride team. She got inspired after seeing some youtube video called “best stride ever.mp4” (which btw on real youtube has nothing to do with this game). After transferring, she finds out the club’s inactive due to loss of members, because of some violence incident. Nana is determined to get the club running, so she helps recruit 2 more members and the 5 man stride team + relay-tioner Nana is complete. A “relay-tioner” role is that of someone who guides the striders during their runs so they can meet up with tag their other team members. The stride relay race takes place in various locations such as cities and even amusement parks, and they basically run parkour style throughout, jumping over various obstacles such as fences, cats, and elderly grandmothers to reach the goal. Aside from being their guide, Nana also gives them magical otome powers in order to GIVE THEM THE COURAGE TO BE THE VERY BEST.
