It’s 50 years into the future, in the country of Cloud. Cloud’s been plagued with a massive drug war on the drug called “Star” and has been ignored by other countries to help stop the spread. The drug, like any drug, has destroyed families and caused gang wars and mass murders. In order to combat the ongoing problem of both dealers and drug abusers (coined as “Stardust”), a team of “Angels” has been formed. These angels go around trying to capture and rehabilitate the drug abusers in order to help get to the root of the problem, and to put an end to the drug war. Our heroine, Sorano Fuu got involved in the drug war because her parents became dealers in order to support the family. Due to getting in a spat with another dealer, Fuu’s parents were killed when she was 7 years old. She was rescued by a pair of Angels and decided to then grow up and enroll in a special academy to become an Angel herself. Now 13 years later, Fuu is 20 and has graduated from the academy. She’s put in a team with 4 other Angels, Yun, Mict, Tchicai and Rayla and the leader Izuki, going on missions to try to find and capture the drug abusers in the town of Akatsuki. During the time spent with her team mates, she discovers more about their pasts with connections to her own. Lots of spoilery text ahead so skip to final thoughts to avoid as usual!
1 Year on FFXIV

Since I do play FF14 50% of my free time, I figured this deserves a post. Yes it’s actually been a year and no I haven’t quit yet 😛 Maybe because it’s not a gacha spewing shitty free Korean grinder that I was so used to dealing with. So basically this post is a year in review of my experience with the game.
Otome Game Review: Otonari-san ni Goyoujin ~Serendipity Next Door~
So I decided to finally fully play and review a Voltage game. And this time, I’m not dealing with that GREE shit, I just straight up bought 3 routes from Serendipity Next Door. I hope you enjoyed my $12 Voltage so now I can go ranting about how much of a ripoff your games really are. The story is about our 25 year old heroine (arbitrarily named Harukawa Sanae) who works in an import foods department and one day gets switched to import household goods instead. At the same time she gets to better know the neighbors in her apartment building. I didn’t realize the Japanese title literally meant “Be careful of your neighbor” because I sure as hell now know what they meant by that /(^o^)\.

Otome Game Review: Re:Vice[D] ~Dear my Lord, I definitely find you~
And so this is my first Vita otome game! Gonna critique the hell out of that in my final thoughts :P. Aika lives in the underworld serving her dark lord. One day the dark lord has to go off to war to fight. He leaves the throne in Aika’s hands until he returns, but he never makes it back. Aika decides it’s time to find a replacement and she and her 3 man slaves the other 3 guardians head to earth. The four of them each find a human who they think is a “good candidate” for the throne. It’s now up to the great election book Mike to test them all out to see who is the one best fit to be the next dark lord.

Otome Game Review: Sakuya
For reasons I cannot explain I’ve been holding off on playing this game but I finally got to it and HELL YEA WORTH ALL THE $8 I PAID FOR IT. Seriously Tetrascope strikes again with their beautiful art and amazing writing and characterization. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed an otome game maker this much and they’re not even an official company! So I’ll just have to throw my money at them in hopes they will produce more awesome games for me to enjoy \( ^o^)/. The story takes place in a distant future where android robots are now part of society. Our heroine Akane, lives with an android robot named Sakuya that her father created. Her childhood friend Shin wants to buy Sakuya for his company to research but Akane refuses to sell him. She has trouble making ends meet and if she sold him she’d be set for life but she can’t bring herself to sell him cause he’s like family to her now. Before her father died he told her to always be with Sakuya for the rest of her life, and if they were ever to part, to destroy him.
