Alright we know there’s a terrible stereotype that otome game heroines are emotionless flat doormats with no eyes or any sensible decision making capabilities. So here I am to bring you 10 ladies who I think deserve mention for breaking this stereotype and generally being an awesome character that makes the game a lot more enjoyable to play. Brother double feature! Following the otoutokun game, by popular demand I’ve decided to do the top 10 oniichans that we all love to hate (or maybe love to get locked up in the uguu cage of love??) No otoutokuns allowed here, must be the older brother figure! Please be forewarned that there will probably be some spoilers for the games they come from so read at your own risk!
I’ve been so disheartened by the amount of kusoge I’ve sat through recently that I decided to further damage myself by buying a kuso-mobile game! Fortunately, it was ironically entertaining for all the wrong ways so in a way, it was a worthwhile purchase for me. 😂 The story is about our heroine Mirai (age 19) who is studying to be a preschool teacher/nurse/whatever the translation wants her to be and her mom suddenly remarries. The new stepdad has 4 sons and he and the mom suddenly say they’re going to France to work for like 6 months or something. They tell Mirai to take care of her new otoutokuns but being a mobile game heroine, Mirai has about 45 minutes to fall in love with all of them from the moment I blow $11 on all their routes. 😂😂😂
Broccoli absolutely does NOT want me posting links to their promotion videos ಠ_ಠ
So everyone is probably wondering what the hell this game actually is. Is it a sequel? A fandisk? A remake? Broccoli couldn’t figure this out either so they made it an all in one disaster. The game takes place as if the previous game never happened – it’s one giant reset. The difference is, this time the “main” chunk of the game are the 4 sub characters: Akira, Dionysos, Thor & Melissa. Meanwhile, all the previous gods just get a half assed route similar to the Rainbow route in Utapri All Star. Anyway more complaints in the final thoughts, but for now enjoy the copy pasta that is this game. For anyone who hasn’t played the first game basically Yui is just thrown into god school to teach the gods about humans and love and she just accepts it cause her life on earth has little value apparently.
I figured I’ve got enough games under my belt to start doing these top 10 posts. I shall begin this series with the worst otome game systems I’ve ever sat through. I’d like to give a shout out to Broccoli and KamiAso Infinite (for having annoying quizzes that affect my trophy collection) to inspire me to write this post. (゚∀゚) Remember, none of these games should ever be attempted without a walkthrough ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)✨.
