Uh…Bright Shadow open beta on the 26th?

bsob Noticed this on the popup when you load the front page. The CB ends today although I haven’t played it much knowing that there’d be a reset anyway. (I mean what’s the point of leveling up when you don’t really get rewards anyway.) I think all CB testers automatically get $5 or something for participating in CB whether you’re level 5 or level 40 so I didn’t bother. It seems like similarly to the JP version, the quests are completely pointless, the seal tower quests give you the best levels and unless you have mounts, have fun walking through the massive fields. I played BS JP with quests up until level 33 or so but I don’t think I’m gonna wanna do them again since the rewards are pretty crappy.

It was like that with RO too though. No one ever did quests cause you’d level faster in the pyramid or payon dungeons with a party then go collecting items. I think the quests just give you something to do if you’re bored of just grinding the same monsters over and over. Additionally I’m generally shocked that anyone even reached level 40 in a week. I didn’t even reach level 40 playing for 3 weeks in Japan BS ^^; Eh I dunno is anyone gonna play this next week? It was fun for the first 3 hours but I dunno I think the novelty has wore off for me. If it ends up being JP and I again, then I’m quitting because at that rate we might as well be playing on the Japanese servers again.

Reorganization @_@;

It has come to my attention that I’m playing too many games *_*;; Need to reorganize myself a little here. Let’s go down the list of what my current/future plans are for these games (and this blog.)

aisp@ce – Recently they released the water shooting game but I think in order to have any decent shooting power you gotta buy the super expensive nicopoint cosplay. As of October, it’s been 1 year since I began aisp@ce and well it’s pretty much boring. You just buy cash items and chat and that’s about it. The water shooting was supposed to add some spice to the game and I could have sworn they wanted to add a new island but when I logged on the shooting didn’t even work and 1 year later, no new island. No sense in leveling up seriously…

Well there you have it GM confirmation that yes indeed everything will be wiped after closed beta. That’s too bad cause I really wanted that nuko skin. I guess it was really too good to be true and all those items are gonna be cash items only… 😐 There’s some event going on where they want people to level up and the guild with the highest level will win some crappy fireworks in the open beta. Useless. I got spam invited into a guild twice so I clicked yes just so the invites would stop coming. I really have no intention to level up and then have to do it all over again once Open Beta begins. By the way the closed beta ends next Wednesday and I pretty much reported all the bugs I ran in. Besides, next week is Pangya JP’s Halloween event and I really need to collect pang for Erika’s umbrella. I don’t have time to uselessly level up and then have my week of effort go down the toilet ^^;.

I did take a few videos of my bright shadow adventures (and by adventures I mean running around 2 towns) but I don’t think they’re really worth posting. Maybe I’ll make a compilation of them later or something, too tired right now ~_~;. I think I’m playing/participating in too many online games these days ^^;.

Bright Shadow Closed Beta First Impressions

So today is the first day of Bright Shadow US closed beta. By being in the Closed Beta there’s a few perks such as these nyatan hat and boot skins. (Actually on the us server they translate the Nya to Meow so Nyangel becomes Meowgel and Nyatan becomes Meowtan xDDD) Despite there being a TON of players (vs how the JP version was always deserted) I didn’t lag all that much! I think the lag really does depend on your video card and I guess my beefy card can handle it fine running at 1600 x 900.

Bright Shadow: King of Gacha

Again, I don’t play Bright Shadow anymore but I’m subscribed to either the Gamania or Webmoney newsletter so I get this stuff in my email…

Ikkitousen collab gacha….really? I mean is BS so desperate for players & money they’re trying to lure people in by having a gacha full of ripped skirts and huge breasted ladies? The fact that all the BS chars look sorta “loli/chibi” style it looks even fucking weirder that they have these giant portruding breasts. It’s like someone glued watermelons to their chest or something 😆 Next thing you’ll know they will do a queens blade collaboration… 🙄 I don’t expect this to ever reach the US version of the game though. 😆
