Pangya US Update: Let the grind begin!

Oh shit, so much for otome gaming orz
Oh shit, so much for otome gaming orz

Wow so I guess the 3 week wait gave us a massive update. Haha lol everytime I bitch about Ntreev they give me an awesome update, coincidence? 😆 More update info after the cut.

Edit2: Due to popular demand (and my harassment) they added a 3rd server Titan Boo (about time). But then when I was playing a 6 hole game with friends, they said 5 min before shutting the server down that titan boo will be shut down for a bug fix. Like geez could you tell us this maybe 30 min in advance not 5??! WE used time boosters and made it with like 60 seconds to spare =_=; No consideration. Also the alpha is still messed up. Oh well I only bought Kooh’s outfit since there’s no problems with it, and it’s probably the only one I’ll buy.

Get your free aisp@ce poster!

freeposter

If you login to Aisp@ce for the next couple days, you can get a free Really? Really! (Some stupid Shuffle spinoff) poster if you go to the Shuffle Island school. Come to the fountain there’s a girl there with pink hair and a Shuffle uniform who will give you the poster if you talk to her. My room is starting to get pretty filled up with posters, I guess I’ve been on Aisp@ce for a pretty long time. A few months ago I recall logging on and talking with random Japanese who were surprised that I had been playing for that long (if you whois someone you can see how many days they have been on aisp@ce since they first logged in.) Too bad they don’t know that I hardly ever log on unless there’s an event like this. ^^;

Brief Pangya Japan update

Sigh :(
Sigh 😦

So if Arin as Luka wasn’t enough, this week Japan is bringing back Miku, Rin & Len outfits for sale once more for those who missed them. This way you can collect them all. Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t play on JP anymore or I’d probably be completely broke ^^;. Actually I haven’t really been playing Pangya recently because of the following reasons:

  • Papel shop rates are still low with nothing in sight of them being changed or any bugs being fixed.
  • We’re still in beta without any updates since May 22nd
  • Apparently Rookie server has turned into Ronaldo-aff land, but don’t quote me because I can’t get in there anyway.
  • Hackers are still at large, albeit they are sneakier now so they fall under the radar 90% of the time now
  • Personal shops are still disabled with no ETA on when they will come back (if ever at this rate)
  • Apparently people with stolen accounts still have not gotten them back.

So since Ntreev hasn’t done shit in almost 3 weeks (I doubt there will be an update this week either) I’ve just been playing Otome games. I’ve got one I’m playing and 4 on the waiting list so that will keep my mind off Pangya for a few weeks. (-ω-。)

Prius Online hates foreigners =D

Bye bye Prius~
Bye bye Prius~

Looks like the comment someone made on my post a couple days ago was not a lie. Gameon is indeed against foreign players. It appears that multiple English speakers who formed an English speaking guild all got banned.  While there is currently no non-JP IP block (like Pangya), I saw their terms of service and found this:

(禁止事項)
26.本サービスに対して日本国外からの接続行為、及び日本国外からの接続であると疑われる行為。
27.本サービスに対して日本国外からのID取得行為、及び日本国外からのID取得であると疑われる行為。

So basically if you register an ID outside Japan and play this game outside Japan, you are breaking their TOS. It’s only a matter of time before GameOn does what Gamepot did with Pangya and just completely ban foreigners so we’re forced to play on a VPN. Of course playing this game without a VPN is laggy enough, but with a VPN it will be even more unplayable. I’ve been lagged to shit to the point of getting completely kicked off the server, and JP kept getting lag-killed. I have a funny feeling that they must have some kind of IP throttle in place so that JP IPs get top bandwidth while any other IPs get crap.

Because I never spoke in English publicly and never joined any English speaking guilds, (as well as having a JP nickname) I was not banned. However the game has become so laggy and unplayable that after all this new information, this is a good time for me to quit playing. While this game was enjoyable, and I do not regret trying it out, all good things have to come to an end.

Not sure what I’ll be doing now, Pangya? 😆

Game Review: Kimi no Mirai to, Subete no Uta ni

mikugameSo today I finished the brief Hatsune Miku doujin game. I listed it under eroge because it’s really meant for a male audience even though there’s technically no actual “ero-scenes” in it. The story is pretty much the vocaloid version of Chobits. “You” are a dude who plays in a band and one day after your live you find Miku wrapped up in bandages near the garbage. You take her home because she’s one of those “androids that have come out recently”. You boot her up and spend 10 days with her, making songs and making out. Unfortunately after 10 days I guess her demo expires and so she shuts down, so now it’s up to you to spend money and buy the full program so you can be with Miku forever and ever and ever! Also at the end of the game she learns to cook. It was kinda weird since you never saw the male because the male was supposed to be “you” and it was hard to umm feel like a male since I’m a girl rofl so I couldn’t really get all emotional when Miku was “dying”. The art quality was really nice though and it’s a pretty short game that’s worth checking out (assuming you can read Japanese since there’s no voices at all.)
