Tartaros Game Adjustments 5/12

As of the 5/12 maintenance:

Nagi’s shielf guard has been nerfed. Great let’s nerf an already weak character!
Elpin Frost Wave skill has been changed from Magic to Physical attack property. 🙄
Cromodo’s Blizzard skill is back to requiring level 53 not 50.
Elpintos Wake Soul skill has now a freeze effect on TOP of taunt. (Adjusted after testing.)
Elpintos Ice Justice changed from Frost Bite to Freeze (I believe it goes from being “slowed down by ice” to just frozen in place.) Edit: I tested this out, it’s actually really helpful for boss battles so no complaints here!

Other stuff just includes certain status ailments now depend on the tokusei that “increases” the chance of those ailments. I played with Pinko & Cromodo today but I haven’t noticed any major changes. Other adjustments:

Robo Donjan lv 35 challenge – the one room where you gotta kill 100 guys, now only require you to kill 90. ┐(‘～`；)┌
The hentai buta yaro map in Arnica (58-59), when you pull the flag it used to give you a massive debuff. That debuff’s been removed. (About the only decent change sigh.)

Other adjustments are fixing Soma’s electricity stuns, Aerlot & Ilishia becoming overpowered, & restoring Cromodo’s ice window so it’s not shitty and back to doing damage like before.

While I’m not happy with ice wave being turned to physical, I do like what they did to Ice Justice. Also I didn’t realize until now that I’ve been using Freezing Limit which does significantly more damage than freezing field (ice commander.) 2ch is bitching that magic Elpin is over but it’s really not that bad. In any case I was able to do Dendou Ex at 46 without dying so maybe it’s not so bad after all ?_? Still won’t take Elpin to public parties because I spam Refuge every 2 seconds lol.

In other news, the spy guns for the guys are rentals. Lol rentals? Why would you bother with a rental when you can buy permanent stuff in the auction nowdays…what are they thinking…┐(‘～`；)┌

Poupee Fairy Event 2011

Well thanks to the stupid long ass maintenance I missed yesterday’s dressup and so now I won’t be getting the extra ribbons for this month…although I guess I don’t care much now that I have a ton of ribbons lol. Also lol limited items are soil dresses. Are you kidding me? 😆 The accessories for some of the ribbon items were okay so I mostly just bought those + the lavender shoes. Otherwise meh….rainy day event where?

Oh also here’s last year’s fairy event. I have to admit this year’s background is less cluttered.

Poor poor Elpintos…(´ε｀；)

So after a couple experiences with Elpin the last couple days I’ve come to the conclusion that sadly 2ch is right…Elpin is probably the weakest character next to Nagi, but at least Nagi can heal. I decided to compare my 45 Soma and 46 Elpin’s attacks at Kishidan Ex.

Elpintos has a 40+10 and Soma has a 40+11 weapon. Elpintos physical/magic is about 3900/3700 and Soma is about 4100/4200. Not much of a difference right? Their con/crit is the same and Elpin gets a buff that increases con/crit and a passive buff that increases her attacks by 500. So let’s compare:

JK for Elpin is Refuge where she recovers SP and does damage in the surrounding area. Soma’s JK is just a regular attack where he jumps into the air and crushes the ground doing a circular attack as well. It’s pretty obvious who’s doing more damage. Additionally apparently this skill for Elpin is considered “annoying” by Japanese players because it spreads the enemies apart and doesn’t kill them. Soma’s spreads them apart too but typically the attack is strong enough that it will kill them as well.

Otome Android Games Part 2

Well since my first post was unsuccessful (need Japanese email bleh) I decided to look for more otome games on the android market and this time I found ones that are actually playable! I downloaded 2 demo games so I guess I’ll just post my impressions and links for you guys to try them out!

First one I tried is　イケメン★ホスト学園　春馬編 demo. Basically the story is about a girl (whose name I forgot so I just wrote in hinano 😆 ) who goes to some otome high school while her childhood friend Kanzaki Haruma goes to some ikemen host high school. Anyway the demo was basically him coming to pick you up for school and getting all tsundere and shit 😆 It’s pretty stereotypical but he’s really cute!

The art is really nice and it has save/load/auto-mode in the demo. There’s no voice as usual for a cell phone game but there’s music. The game has 3 different routes for 3 different guys but sadly its $3.74 per guy so it’s definitely recommended you try the demos for each guy before considering purchase. Personally I liked Haruma haha so I would recommend him for sure ;D. You can buy the game here or try the demo here.

Rethinking My Phases

You can read about people’s phase opinions all you want but I guess until you try it yourself you just never know. Because of the addition of the CP -> skill point scrolls was implemented I was able to try different phases for my characters. Well Ruko without side step is crap and Cromodo’s time mage is poop on a stick so I didn’t bother with those. Instead the focus today is on Pinko, Elphintos & Soma.
