Unboxing: Possession Magenta Animate Set

Didn’t expect it to arrive so early so once again mad props to Baggage Forward for their speedy service!

So as you can see there’s a lot of stuff in it. I also picked the set with the opening single (which I’m now looping on repeat　(◉◞౪◟◉｀)). The game itself comes with the short version of the OP single if you preorder it so now I have all sorts of versions :lol:. The box on the outside is kinda flimsy but the inner game box is beautiful and sturdy like the box for Arcana Famiglia 2 was. Comfort is really great about their limited edition boxes. Booklet has mostly character profiles and some sketches by Sarachi sensei. In addition to all the drama CDs there’s also the cast DVD and a strap with their usaneko (cat bunny) mascot.

One more thing that came with the Animate set which I’m really happy about is the PS Vita theme!

There’s very little variety of otome game vita themes as it is so this was really nice to get. The only thing is as you can see in the 3rd screenshot there’s too much text and well I can’t see shit 😆 ｶﾞ━━(;ﾟДﾟ)━━ﾝ!! If you have Vita background music on it plays the catchy bgm from the game but I usually turn it off since I take my vita out in public a lot lol.

Overall I’m pretty satisfied with the set and I know the current Amazon reviews are really bad but I’m going to keep a positive outlook and hope for the best. 50% of the time my opinion is usually the opposite of the Japanese otome gamers so hopefully this will still be a good game worth all the money I spent on it (；´∀｀).

Looks nice! I wanted to get this game but I have a lot of stuff for August coming up so I decided to wait for opinions before getting this one. I hope it turns out as good at the LE looks!

I had to sadly cancel my ninkoi game order to prioritize new releases in july but I hope you enjoy it!

Gyah~ Hooray for getting Possession Magenta! I feel it will be an enjoyable game, with the music on Loop it should be. I don’t have a Vita yet, but I can’t wait for your review. I’ll probably be getting mine (along with Shinobi Koi’s New release) when I step foot in Japan in Aug.

(Garaiya’s such a (●♡∀♡) When I saw the Promo movie, at the end I was like ( ≡；ﾟдﾟ) Hanzou’s route is probably going to be intense with a bunch of mixed feels!)

Yes, they definitely warped/screwed/ messed/ the whole damm plot up with the series. I wasn’t expecting the game to get this much hype when they released the very first game (but hey it’s rejet) I’ve probably touched about my thoughts on this game with you before (Maybe because I really like to rant my feels with you because I have no friends ヽ(;ﾟ;∀;ﾟ; )ﾉ

But I feel since the release of the *cough*crappy*cough* anime which caught the audience who (I assume) have not played the game(s), they don’t understand the storyline and to confuse them even more: the additional vampires and cliche predictable plot coaster.

I’m glad I didn’t bother with Dark Fate because once I laid eyes on it, it was just painful groaning and hair tugging. The game was good the first time it came out…

yea turns out the strap is also a screen cleaner so I just strapped it to my new phone case 😀

Have fun with POSEMAGE! The strap looks so cuuuuute. I’m awaiting your judgement and will buy it when I’m in Japan in summer or winter. xDD And have fun with the DVD. Seiyuu dorks. LOL

From what I read in other people’s blogs the plot is more warped from what the series originally was (with the whole adam/eve garbage) so I really don’t feel that it’s “better” or “great”. DF is apparently a continuation of what MB started and I’m not at all interested in that.

But that aside things like death threats from the idiotic DL fandom, and the fact that I pretty much dislike everyone but Subaru, Shu and Azusa give me absolutely no reason even spent a cent on that game since that would be pretty much throwing my money down the toilet.
I already have about 4 games in July (and some I had to put aside) that I’d rather play instead.

So sorry I will not be playing Dark Fate or any Diabolik Lovers game ever again.

I know that what I am going to say is random and totally not related to this article, but you should give Dark Fate a chance. I see that you’re traumatized after More Blood and I understand that it’s difficult, but I heard that’s a very good game with an actual great plot. In another words this time Rejet have outdone themselves. I would love to read your review about this game. Your reviews are always hilarious and amusing.

Yea I really like the characters so I’m closing my eyes on the Amazon reviews and just going to see it for myself! 😛

So jealous yours came today, I was hoping to get mine as well but no such luck. I’ll have to avoid spoilers like the plague. That booklet and vita theme look great! Regretting I only got the regular edition and didn’t go all out for the Animate LE.

The reviews have me bummed but I’m still expecting to get a lot of enjoyment out of it since the characters have already really grown on me.
