Otome Game Review: Puss in Combat Boots

Primula decided it wanted to do its own rendition of Nier Replicant but with cat people instead of robots. Unfortunately it went as “great” as Miqo’te players dancing the Bees Knees in 2Butt bottoms in Limsa Lominsa. Warning spoilers ahead because I cannot rant about the ridiculous “final ending” without spoiling out the wazoo.

Guest Review: Taisho Alice: Epilogue

Okay, that was a looooooooooot faster than I thought. It’s only one route, but seeing how much of a slog it took me to get through the previous episode I was expecting this to take me longer than a day to get through. But then I checked Steam and oops, they’re only charging half price for this one after all so I probably should’ve known better. Aaaaaaaaaaanyway, as usual spoilers ahoy, especially given the nature of how this epilogue plays out.

Guest Review: Taisho Alice: Tokyo Drift

As I mentioned before, I grabbed all the rest of the Taisho Alice games when they got released before the Steam Summer sale. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut then we got sidetracked by Real Games For Real Gamers (TM) for the last few months (and trying to finish up our final prep before the upcoming FFXIV expansion) so this game has been sitting in limbo since then. Again, as before they’re releasing these games in four parts, so this one just covers Gretel and Kaguya (plus the short prologue with Katakana Alice, of course) and therefore still doesn’t cover any of the overarching metanarrative just yet.

Guest Review: Taisho x Alice Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

That’s right, it’s time once again for me to sell some more Steam cards to Russian money launderers and play some more PC otome games!  I had bought this game as usual during one of the regular Steam sales…and didn’t realize that the next Taisho Alice game had come out recently as well.  So next time that one is also available for like seven cents I’ll also pick it up, but for now it’s just Cinderella and Little (Big?) Red Riding Hood.  This one’ll be shorter than usual since it’s only covering two routes out of full game, and again as usual I’ll include spoilers because this game came out like 5 years ago.
