Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~After Spring~

Welcome to the never ending chronicles of eyeless…wait! It’s a miracle! Tsukiko has EYES! Thank god, the poor girl was going blind in all 4 games but finally honeybee decided to give her some face surgery. So anyway now I guess would be the time period between when the Spring series ended and the “last” CG of the game when they all got married lol. The game starts in the fall and takes place over about a 2 year period but it goes by really quickly. The first part of the game requires you to do some stupid route with some side characters which then unlocks the “after story” with one of the 3 guys (depending whose name you pick a million times in the first part.) After you finish one of the guys good ends there’s also a mini epilogue. While there are 3 endings for each guy you only need to do 1 of the endings to get all the CGs. The other endings are just extra babbling/scenario by the character and since it’s from his POV it starts to get annoying..FAST. Sigh anyway not gonna be much to write here but enjoy! Otome Game Review: Happy☆Magic!

I don’t think Pony Canyon should ever make Otome Games but they did and I was unfortunate enough to play it. Actually I didn’t really do any background research on this (like I never do honestly) but it feels to me like they just got a bunch of famous seiyuus just to do some drama CDs and then made the otome game as a side thing? Kinda like with Starry Sky. Of course unlike with this game, HoneyBee actually had a decent artist and programmer do the game. Anyway the story is very simple. Your teacher tells you to snag a man before Christmas or something and then you will get a special “jewel” depending on which man you snag. So now with your annoying tsukkomi cat Nyaa (voiced appropriately by ishida akira) our heroine Temari, who is also studying to be a witch, is ready to catch some pokemans bishies! Game Review: Clannad

This is my rehash Clannad review. I saw both anime series and I have to say it was a pretty poor adaptation in comparison to Air and Kanon. It’s too bad by the time they animated Clannad KyoAni was all about moefodder shit to actually care to animate it properly. I did cry in after story but the 2nd half of the first series and 1st half of the 2nd series was complete and utter shit. The game however was brilliant and I cried through an entire tissue box.
