Otome Game Review: Scared Rider Xechs -Stardust Lovers-

So in hopes of some missing otome game action from the last game, I decided to play the (extremely short) FD. Unlike most FDs I’ve ever played, this one doesn’t take place AFTER the previous game – it takes place in BETWEEN chapters 6-8 of the last game during the summer. They knew they dun goof’ed on the bullshit ending in the last game so there was no real way to do an after story FD…so yea time to shove the missing otome events right!? And so for this reason everyone including the substances is all horned up for Akira and fights over her the entire time. 😂

Otome Game Review: Scared Rider Xechs Rev.

Our superwoman genius Akira graduated from college at a young age and at the age of 17 becomes a teacher/commander for the 6th Evangelion LAG unit of Substance x Human robo fighters. But also everything is like a giant musical pun because all the robos aka substances, are named after guitar brands (Gibson, Les Paul, Epiphone etc) and all the guys in this unit are part of a rock band called Odd I’s (a pun on the fact that they have odd colored eyes when they gattai with their robots). 😂 They fight against the evil “red” planet but things start to get difficult when it’s revealed that the substances are all originally from that red planet and have been experimented on/controlled by humans. Aka it’s basically the plot of Evangelion 😂😂.

Otome Game Review: drastic Killer

The creators of the infamous bishie moan game Duel Love bring us this PS2 masterpiece! The game begins with some random voice asking you a survey which determines the heroine, Tachibana Toko’s character personality. Suddenly some dude with long hair takes her through a mirror to some kind of a grave. When she gets there she gets some new clothes and her hair grows longer. He then informs her that she’s a candidate for the position of queen and must marry one of the bishie princes of this world \( ^o^)/ . He also informs her that her real father is from this land of Inollad and that she’s got special powers sleeping inside of her. When they try to awaken her powers they fail and are returned back to earth, but not before blowing up the statue of the legendary goddess. The dude tells Toko that if she starts experiencing weird things or getting marks on her skin, to let him know immediately and he disappears. In order to get to the bottom of things, Toko must now sexually harass some hot mans to while trying to make it through high school!

Otome Game Review: Dare ni Demo Ura ga Aru -Happy Gift-

So I was looking forward to the DareUra fandisk for a while and I even followed Amedeo’s progress on the game via their blogs and twitters. I may have mistakenly overhyped the game for myself because sadly it did not live up to my expectations. I tried to ignore all the bad reviews for it until I tried for myself but sadly they were right. Anyway more on that in my final thoughts. The story this time starts with a prologue to remind you of  the cast from the first game (in case you forgot) and instead they add this flaming okama broadcaster who wants to make either Nanako the “princess”. He then  wastes about 4 hours of your life interviewing all the eligible mans and making homo jokes while I almost fell asleep on my couch. Finally you pick either student or teacher route and depending on the choices you can end up with your man of choice. In this disk they added Oda, who was a fat otaku, is now a skinny bishounen otaku (after much plastic surgery) and a yandere chef. Sadly that also means they kicked out the 2 DECENT characters from the first game: Haru & Lee 😐 Sigh what a shame.
