This is another one of those games where the seiyuu cast is amazing and everything else is balls. The story is about our heroine Tsuzuri whose mother is a fortune teller. One day her mom Sakura goes missing in action, leaving Tsuzuri and her brother Amane, saying she’s gone to look for their father. She leaves without saying where she’s going and how long she’ll be gone and now all of her fortune telling customers demand to see her. It’s up to Tsuzuri to train (aka for you to raise stats) so that she can become a super fortune teller and snag that man. Quality over 9000 ahead! Galge Review: Kanon
Taking a break from otome games I decided to replay Kanon the PS2 version. I played in about 10 years ago, the PC version with no BGM, no voices and my Japanese level was pathetic where I didn’t understand anything anyway. I’m sure everyone & their grandma knows the story and/or watched both animes (i.e. me) but I figured I’d treat this like I treat all my reviews so expect a novel below! Please note this is the PS2 version so everyone was voiced (except Yuichi) and there was no unnecessary porn. The story is about Aizawa Yuichi who moves in with his aunt and cousin back to a town that he left 7 years ago. Due to a possible PTSD he’s forgotten a lot of stuff that happened 7 years ago and as he spends more time living there it’s all coming back to him now. Continue reading “Galge Review: Kanon”
Otome Game Review: Your Memories Off -Girls Style-
The story is about a girl named Tsukioka Umi who’s in her last year of high school and one day her otaku classmate invites her to go to a live band show by a local college band. She’s very impressed by it and then it so happens that she meets the band members at her part time job at a cafe. She asks if she can go watch them practice and she ends up singing with them. They are all impressed, especially the leader Shunichi that he asks if she can join their band and so she becomes their lead singer. Umi also has a pet bunny named Sora who I think gets more CGs than he deserves lol but let’s get rolling. Continue reading “Otome Game Review: Your Memories Off -Girls Style-“
Wanna go for a drive?
Anyway ever notice how in most otome games there’s always that ONE SCENE where the “adult” character is ALWAYS DRIVING A CAR. Instead of like a CG of maybe him kissing the heroine or doing something cute we gotta settle for him DRIVING A CAR. ( ´_ゝ`) Continue reading “Wanna go for a drive?”
Otome Game Review: Moujuutsukai to Oujisama
The story takes place in some European-escue country with our heroine Tiana. Tiana wants to be a pro beast-master like her mother but her mom and dad are always out somewhere so she sadly has to spend most of her time living and training on her own. She has a whistle that she uses to tame most animals so when a tiger gets lose in town she’s able to make it fall asleep with a blow of her whistle. One day while on her way home she runs into some man selling animals for “dinner”. The cage of animals contains a lion, a duck, a wolf and a rabbit – not exactly a 3 course meal here 😆 The animals look sick and tired and she feels sorry for them so she trades her treasured brooch for them. She figured they would be a great way to practice taming some beasts! XD When she gets home she realizes the animals are very tame and it’s almost like they understand everything she is telling them – then finally the lion speaks human language. Tiana is shocked but then finds out that they were originally humans who got cursed and turned into animals. They ask for her cooperation to help them turn back to human and so her adventures begin!
