Pangya updates
So it’s been a while but I ran into a story I could actually do (and not get my ass kicked by the computer). I walked in with Max since I knew I would be facing Arin, however I was kicked out because I was not “dressed for the occassion”. Since I was told that arin is in a “lacy white dress” I figured a tuxedo would be more appropriate and so I was allowed into the game.
No matter how much I try I just can’t get back into Ragnarok Online. I think the problem is I’ve played this game for so many years I know it inside and out. The only “new” things are whatever customs a private server has, but most of the time those customs are annoying overpowered donation items. It didn’t help last night that the server crashed and some of my friends couldn’t even create characters. In addition there’s constant buying/selling global spam in the chat. I haven’t encountered it myself but there’s a ton of ks’er reports, a lot of complaints that the GM is never on (I’ve never seen the GM on yet). It reminds me of when I went RO server hopping and I’m just so tired of it. Most private servers are poorly run, or they start out ok, but then get shitty as the community grows and the GMs stop giving a rat’s ass.
My goal was mainly to check out Moscovia but it’s no different than any other “new map” that Korea has added. Sure we got some Matreoshka’s everywhere, but the rest looks like any other RO island and the field looks like any other RO field with some different monsters in it. I guess because RO has had the same “system” for years and years I know it so well that my interest just dies. I’m probably going to uninstall this game today, but for those of you who downloaded it and never played RO (or haven’t played in a few years) I do recommend you at least check it out for a couple of days. The prime of my RO years was like 2004-2005 but now I just can’t get back into it.
I have plans to play & review some eroge on this site so I’ll probably just focus on that instead, in addition to Wii Pangya. Speaking of Pangya it looks like they are holding a poll to name the servers until the 15th. That means that until the 15th the server is still going to be down. I’m guessing release is scheduled for end of April? (April 30th? lol)
I’m back from Disneyworld and I was able to check the Pangya site from my phone while there. Disappointed that it’s still not up and at this point I can safely say I really don’t care anymore. I’ve got Wii Pangya and the spring anime season to keep me busy. If Pangya comes back in April great, if not whatever. If they are taking this long to release the god damn thing, they better release it bug free and with season 4. Waiting 3 months just to release it in Season 3 is complete crap to me and I’m losing interest in this game. All the outfits I ever wanted I got in my wii version and more on top of that. I hear that our guilds will be wiped and that GOA now has hackers doing -52s on West Wiz. Great, so when US server opens they will come back and fuck things up again.
I’m getting really tired of this shit.
I hope they eventually release Super Swing Golf 3 for the Wii, which includes all the season 4 stuff on it (and perhaps season 5 if that ever comes out.)
So I didn’t really read the manual in detail but apparently the cubes with the exclamation marks on them (that look like something out of Super Mario Brothers) are story mode AND gift. I walked in there with Kaz and Uncle Bob immediately told me to GTFO and that he was waiting for someone who was “100% woman” 😆 Continue reading “Bob the Cassanova”
Alrighty so like I said…I’ve been playing non stop so I’ve gone through & completed every map/course/game in the Pangya Wii Storymode! ヽ(･∀･` )ﾉ So now it’s time to share some memories and add some of my final (or maybe not so final?) notes! Beware: Image heavy!
