Aida Mei used to be a huge idol otaku back in the day but then her favorite idol group disbanded (because one of the members knocked up his girlfriend and dropped out). She suddenly had amnesia of her time liking idols and somehow ended up becoming an idol manager instead! For no reason whatso ever though, her 3 idol boys are madly in love with her, but all I wanted to do was date the hot accountant at the agency instead. 🤣 Basically you are not allowed to date the idols or return their feelings or they will fail to perform in their big concert. Unfortunately sometimes it’s really hard to tell which choice will make them go kyunkyun and ruin the good ending lol. The game is fortunately very short so even if you fail you can try again.
Issa – Issa is like the ore-sama type, 21 years old, the leader of the group. He acts like he’s all cool and experienced but nah he hasn’t done shit as it shows she invites him over to her place lol. As Otoha said, he’s like a “prince from a year 2000 shoujo manga”.
Ranmaru – Ranmaru is the tsundere, 19 years old, likes to dance. He acts like your “90’s galge tsundere” as Otoha puts it so you can pretty much imagine how his route goes.
Otoha – Otoha is the baby Saja of this group at only 17 years old but he has an obsession with Y2K culture so he acts like a high school kid from year 2000, even as far as hiding physical paper “guides on how to make love to your woman” under his bed. 😭🤣Unfortunately, he still talks like a Reiwa alpha/zoomer though and tbh if I didn’t have subtitles I wouldn’t have any idea wtf he is saying half the time. 😭
Reiji – Reiji is the hot accountant who used to be in the idol group that Mei was a huge fan of. Sadly, to continue piling on the otome game jokes, the only CG he gets is the car driving CG. GIRL HOW COULD YOU BUT ALSO LMAO. 🥹😭🤣🤣
Personally this game was really fun and enjoyable. It just makes fun of itself, otome games in general and has lots of heisei-era jokes so tbh I think the game is meant towards people my age rather than anyone younger who would probably miss most of the jokes anyway. The bad reviews on steam were complaining the game was “bad” and “short” missed the entire point of it. I personally think if you can get the reference to the picture above, you will probably find this game very enjoyable…if not well maybe you might not get most of the jokes. Overall I had fun with this game, it was short and sweet and won’t take up more than a couple hours of your evening. Looks like the creator has another game coming out in November so that is definitely on my to buy list!
