Retiring from Tartaros.

It was a fun game, but it sucks now. I’m tired of the grind, I’m tired of everything being only done to generate money and nothing done for the end user. I’m sick of shitty Nagis and shitty Rukos. I’m sick of playing alone because friends who did not grind with me are now behind and cannot come to the new maps with me. Our entire guild started out at 13 people and now only me and 1 other person are active. Playing with strangers sucks and after the death penalty change it sucks even harder. It’s just no fun anymore. I’ve removed all blog subscriptions relating to the game, I’ve removed my twitter list for it too. The only thing I subscribe are the update news from the official site because there’s still a slight hope in me that there will be a major rehaul when they realize they are losing players.

I’m not holding my breath though. (　´_ゝ`)　Maybe I’ll be back on it one day, who knows. But for now I just need a cold break from it completely. With this in mind, I will not be posting any updates or event info on this blog until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Edit: Also I cannot forgive the fact that this fucking game destroyed my previous computer and the fact that they did not fix the problem after 2 months. That’s probably the biggest culprit of all.

I helped our guild member level up last night to get to 54 but I’m kinda mehing about the whole thing. I should be excited cause yay new maps after like 2 months finally but looking at the update events…=_=; I guess I’ll post a basic summary.

Tartaros 1.5xp

Posting from my phone lol. Since tartaros got into 6th place for that online game contest, there will be 1.5x exp daily from 9/3-9/9 8-10pm and 1-3pm Japan time daily. Additionally everyone will receive 10 revival scrolls. Maybe time to level up Pinko and Ruko again, but if I crash from errors even once, I’m done.

I have to rant.

I’m sorry but I have to rant about Tartaros. I know I already ranted in game and on twitter but for those who don’t see my twitter or are in game you can now also read it here.

Today me, a guild member Ilishia, another Pinko and a Ruko all went to do level 1-10 of Eternal Dungeon. Everyone had 48+11 and the Ilishia had 48+10 (correct me if I’m wrong on this.) We do rooms 1-9. No problem, it’s challenging, but not impossible. We get goodies such as random treasure boxes, or skill point books so you can now have more skill points to level up your other characters.

Then we get to the boss room, Floor 10. My Cromodo who has 6,300 magic attack, is doing 56-48 damage a hit on ANY ATTACK he does. Everyone else apparently was doing even less than that. The boss can one hit kill you, or at least take off half my HP. If you die more than 3 times, you cannot revive no matter what scroll you use. And the best part of it all ? The current event where you can “gather enough to get safeties, skill resets” etc….the event items ONLY drop from Eternal Dungeon. The eternal dungeon requires 3,000 points and even though we failed, we lost at least 2900 CP.

Seriously, I’m done. I’m not going to go spend money to try to get my weapon to +15. I shouldn’t have to. I shouldn’t have to PAY MONEY to be able to PLAY NEW CONTENT. You know what that’s called? PAY TO PLAY. Last I recall, Tartaros was free to play. If I can’t play for free, then I will not be playing. I’ll be logging in for whatever login events they have, and I will level up my sub characters during any upcoming double exp events, but that’s it. I’m done with this game otherwise. I didn’t have my hopes up that high, and I sarcastically said we’d all need +15 weapons, but I’m upset that I was right. (´・ω・｀)
