Otome Game Review: Hakuoki Yuugiroku 2 ~Matsuribayashi to Taishitachi~

A sequel (?) to the first Yuugiroku game Otomate decided to poop out Yuugiroku 2. Unfortunately Kazuki Yone’s been gone for like 2 years so they had to get one of their copy cats to do all the CGs. Sadly this didn’t fare too well so to add salt on to the wound they decided to add a confusing as all hell system to make me flip multiple tables. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Read the rest of this entry

Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia -The Phantom Ship Magician-

Things are going the same as usual at the Arcana family home until Ash acts like a bed intruder and barges in stealing the box of tarot cards, taking Felicita as a hostage.  He brings the cards to some dude named Joshua on a ghost ship but suddenly one of the cards chooses Ash and makes a contract with him. It’s the Magician, and in addition to that, Joshua makes a pact with the Justice and turns into a skeleton, making all other skeletons on the ship go nuts. Ash is like dafuq but just then Felicita’s man harem shows up to save her. Unfortunately Joshua creates a massive fog on the ship and everyone gets split up – except Felicita who gets to have a fun time with the guy of your choice while they try to figure out what the hell’s going on. (*ゝ∀・*) Also it is to be noted that this is like a sequel and so its assumed that whoever’s route you’re on, they are your lover.

(lll ̄□ ̄)ガーン!!  They only have a week left to live in this house and after that it has to get foreclosed and they gotta beat it. Fortunately Fatima isn’t an evil stepmother and the daughters aren’t evil stepsisters so they find a small cheap place to live in and ask Odette to come with them. Turns out the house they found is some old beat up haunted mansion that looks like something the Adams family used to live in. Fortunately life’s not too bad for our Cinderella because she gets to make friends with some hot monster bishies and attend the ball to win over prince charming’s heart.

Because of her blood, she has a ton of power inside of her and unless she lets loose by getting into fights with other spirits at the school, she comes down with a fever and her powers go out of control. Typically she and her good friend Hisoka run around causing trouble and annoying the student council president and teachers. The school they attend is an average school with humans attending the day classes. Otome Game Review: Renai Bancho 2 -Midnight Lesson!!!-

So following the first game, we now have a different heroine (who I’ve named Hiro In because Mary Sue was last game  ) that’s got love problems. Her friends tell her about the renai banchos but she’s already well aware of it because she’s heard of the “Legendary Angel!” aka the first game’s Mary Sue. One day a flying chibi girl named Katherine gives Hiro a rainbow handkerchief saying to throw it up near a tree in the courtyard, rather than off the school rooftop like before. As she walks around confused a bunch of random guys, who she thinks are transfer students, ask her about the handkerchief but she lies saying she doesn’t have it. When she gets home she runs into Koakuma Bancho who tells her to stop lying and that throwing the handkerchief during a full moon will make something good happen to her. She goes back to the school courtyard at night and throws the handkerchief and immediately gets 8 hot men at her service. As like with Mary Sue, Hiro can now pick one of them to be her boyfriend for a year to teach her the ways of love.
