Otome Game Review: Black Wolves Saga -Last Hope-
Because apparently 96 of you voted for this, I decided to finally play Black Wolves Saga. There’s a country of Weblin where humans and furries once lived in peace. The humans let the cats and wolves take lead, and there are other races like rabbits, dogs, mice etc. One day someone from the wolf race went and stabbed someone from the cat race and that’s when shit hit the fan. A war broke out between cats and wolves and just around that time rabies some black plague disease called Zodiva spread and started mass killing everyone. Someone then started a rumor that the plague came from the wolves and then the wolves started getting attacked by humans to “wipe away the disease.” In self defense, the wolves started fighting back (though most of the time beyond their control due to the mad cow disease). Needless to say with plagues and rumors going around, the wolves pretty much got wiped off the face of Weblin – except they didn’t. In fact the remaining wolves have all been secretly living in the woods while Weblin was taken over by the cats. Meanwhile back at the ranch, there’s a rich ojousama named Fiona Galland who is our heroine. She’s just reached her 16th birthday and she spent her entire life living in a tower like Rapunzel, never being allowed to see the outside world. The reason being is because Fiona was born with SPECIAL genes Key Aids and her body called Robeira, so she is incredibly weak that even catching a cold can be deadly. On her 16th birthday they figure that it’s safe for her to leave the nest and see the outside world. Unfortunately by doing so, she gets caught in between the battle of the furries. In other words, welcome to Rejet’s rendition of Animal Farm!
Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia ~Festa Regalo~
Cooking otome game double feature starting with Festa Regalo! So one day Felicita’s dad got bored and decided that he’s gonna make his mafia mans have an iron chef battle. The prize is having his powers for 1 day and whether they like it or not, they must participate. It’s up to you and your chosen dude to run around, gather ingredients and make awesome dishes to please the judges. As a reward though, there are some short bonus scenarios & CGs.
Otome Game Review: School Wars
Ichijou Shiori’s father is died in a car accident and her mother is sick and hospitalized. Being tight on funds, Shiori was rejected from her high school because she couldn’t afford to pay for it. However luck came her way and she got a scholarship to Seiron Academy and became the chairman of the public morals committee in her 3rd year. On top of this her mother was allowed to transfer to a fancy hospital for better treatment. Unfortunately there’s a catch which is to take military training and uphold the peace now that Seiron Academy and the wealthy Suzushiro Academy have merged. The students are at war with each other ever since 3 years earlier, Suzushiro burned down one of Seiron’s school buildings and now it’s happened again. The student council president lures her into finding out the criminal behind it and desperate for money she agrees. However, she quickly learns the best way to win is to SLEEP with the enemy (✧≖‿ゝ≖). Too bad for Shiori, she’s spent so much of her life trying to survive, that she’s a tad behind in the romance department. Read the rest of this entry
Otome Game Review: Brothers Conflict -Passion Pink-
Hinata Ema is a 16 year old high school girl gamer with a talking squirrel named Juri. Ema’s mother died soon as she was born and her father finally decided to remarry into the Asahina family. Luckily for Ema, her new step mom can’t keep her legs closed and had like 13 children all ranging ages 11 – 32. Ema’s got a truck load of new step brothers but they are more than willing to cross over the sibling line.

Otome Game Review: Arcana Famiglia -The Phantom Ship Magician-
Things are going the same as usual at the Arcana family home until Ash acts like a bed intruder and barges in stealing the box of tarot cards, taking Felicita as a hostage. He brings the cards to some dude named Joshua on a ghost ship but suddenly one of the cards chooses Ash and makes a contract with him. It’s the Magician, and in addition to that, Joshua makes a pact with the Justice and turns into a skeleton, making all other skeletons on the ship go nuts. Ash is like dafuq but just then Felicita’s man harem shows up to save her. Unfortunately Joshua creates a massive fog on the ship and everyone gets split up – except Felicita who gets to have a fun time with the guy of your choice while they try to figure out what the hell’s going on. (*ゝ∀・*) Also it is to be noted that this is like a sequel and so its assumed that whoever’s route you’re on, they are your lover.
Otome Game Review: Storm Lover NatsuKoi!!
So remember that “beach school trip” thing in Storm Lover Kai? Basically this fandisk is dedicated to “expanding” it to be more than just a 1 time event. This time you spend 3 days with your guy and you get a chance to even start as “friends” and work your way up to lovers. Additionally they FINALLY gave routes to Takashi, Chihiro & the hidden character from this scenario. Unfortunately as with the previous game, it does give you the option to NTR though fortunately it doesn’t give you CGs so it’s not a requirement! ε=＼＿○ﾉ ｲﾔｯﾎｰｩ！ The gang stays at a fancy shmancy time share mansion funded by Yuuto while they have fun in the sun!
Otome Game Review: Storm Lover Kai!!
Our heroine Igarashi Yuuna moves into a new town and transfers to Saint Louis High. As she gets used to her surroundings, she gets to meet some hot dudes at her school. If she successfully stalks them and gets them to confess she’ll get a new boyfriend however she must be careful…if she screws up in their relationship, the guy will dump her or some ho will steal him. It’s up to you to make sure Yuuna’s relationship succeeds within a span of 1 year. Welcome to Tokimeki Memorial D3P Style
Otome Game Review: Cinderella and the 12 O’Clock Bell ~Halloween Wedding~
Odette Scarlet is the only daughter of a rich guy Graham Scarlet whose mother died when she was a baby. Due to this she was raised by servants and her father for most of her life and was pretty much the mistress of the house. One day daddy tells her he wants to remarry and the woman he’s picked is some lady shamed by society because she single handedly raised two daughter on her own. Odette thinks this lady is just a gold digger after her dad’s money but decides to give them a chance. Some time later, her father gets into an accident and dies. To make things worse, he doesn’t leave an inheritance and in fact leaves a LOAN putting Odette, Fatima & her 2 daughters in debt!! (lll￣□￣)ｶﾞｰﾝ!! They only have a week left to live in this house and after that it has to get foreclosed and they gotta beat it. Fortunately Fatima isn’t an evil stepmother and the daughters aren’t evil stepsisters so they find a small cheap place to live in and ask Odette to come with them. Turns out the house they found is some old beat up haunted mansion that looks like something the Adams family used to live in. Fortunately life’s not too bad for our Cinderella because she gets to make friends with some hot monster bishies and attend the ball to win over prince charming’s heart.

Otome Game Review: Natsuzora no Monologue
There’s a giant white pole in town that everyone refers to as the “tree”. Nobody knows why it got there but one day it just appeared. Our heroine Ogawa Aoi lost her memory 1 year prior when she fainted near it. It’s all good though because she’s got her science club buddies who want to help her get it back. Sadly their plans are cut short when everyone starts Groundhog daying it on July 29th, the day before the science club was to disband. The reason being because they all secretly wish that the 30th will never come because they all have various life changing situations that will happen the next day. They’re not aware of this though, and they try to figure out a way how to get out of it until they all start realizing why they’re looping in the first place. Skip to final thoughts to bypass the spoiler wagon.
Otome Game Review: Real Rode
Now normally the only RPG games I play are the MMO kind so I had almost rage quit this too but as usual Koori helped me persevere and eventually I had things figured out. I also read Sharakael’s tips on the game so be sure to check those out for more useful information! If you’ve made it through Love Revo, then I can assure you that you can make it through this since essentially the effort is the same – but this game allows you to carry over character levels making each route a lot easier. The story is about our heroine Nina who is playing an otome RPG game (because she’s an otaku apparently) and then one morning she gets sucked into it! So now it’s up to US to play the game for her so she can get out of the land of Rode The ironic part being of course – Nina has a boyfriend! But what does she do? Get cozy with videogame hunks despite him later falling into the game as well and joining her party! ／(^o^)＼ﾅﾝﾃｺｯﾀｲ Warning I’ve included a guide so this post is going to be long! Otome Game Review: Death Connection
So while the opening does feel like a ripoff Cowboy Bebop and the game feels like Bloody Call meets Bleach I still enjoyed it immensely. If you like Bloody Call then I definitely recommend this. Man it’s been a while since I played an otome game with an actual decent story lol. The story is about a girl who was abandoned as a baby at a church by her mother who was hurt and killed. She was raised by the priest there not knowing who her parents are and was raised along side of a boy whose family was killed by some mafia. They were raised like brother and sister to be priest and nun. A few years later on one day the mafia randomly attacked the church and the boy, Joshua, took the girl Amelia and ran away. Otome Game Review: Hakushaku to Yousei ~Yume to Kizuna ni Omoi wo Hasete~
Well since I saw the anime 2 years ago and it had a really crappy ending, I figured I’d play the game in hopes that we’d get more content and a better end. While we do indeed get more content and a better ending, we also get a bunch of unnecessary things. The entire game basically runs around Lydia reading some letters from people asking for help regarding some fairy related event. Lydia of course gets on top of things and as usual Edgar tags along. The game also started with a massive flashback to the anime using anime screencaps (and not good ones at that.) One of the episodes was also them basically taking the anime episode and using screencaps to turn it into a ‘story’. For someone who never watched the anime this may be okay, but since I saw the anime I was really annoyed having to see the same crap all over again. Read the rest of this entry
