Otome Game Review: Zettai Meikyuu Grimm ~Nanatsu no Kagi to Rakuen no Otome~ Director’s Cut
A loli named Henrietta lives with her 3 cousins, the Grimm brothers. They all pamper her because when she’s 16 she can marry so they want to enjoy their kawaii desu imouto while they still can (especially the oldest pedobear aniki Jacob.) The 2 oldest brothers leave on a journey to do research to try and make fairy tales come true leaving Henrietta with her youngest brother Ludwig. Little does Henrietta know that her pedobear aniki Jacob wrote a pedobear fairy tale that sadly she is the heroine of and it means getting a happy end with every character, including princesses and bad guys 
One night Henrietta chases a butterfly into the forest, only be caught by a pedobear incubus who tells her to come with him to a circus. Henrietta protests and the dude gets pissed and attacks her but just in time her shota cousin Ludwig comes to her rescue. The two of them fight using summoning magic from their brothers’ magic books. Henrietta summons some angry vegetables which sadly doesn’t really work and then the guy puts a sleeping spell on both her and Ludwig. When they both wake up in a coffin, they’re 5 years older with hair down to the ground (and for some reason butt naked!) They realize they’re in their older brother’s abandoned research room, and they look through Wilhelm’s diary where he talks about special keys and Ludwig finds he has one himself. They use the key to get out of the lab but when they go back to town, they find it completely destroyed along with their house. The Incubus who attacked them 5 years earlier shows up laughing at them saying they’ll die trying to survive in the real world, and then disappears. Ludwig & Henrietta then decide they will go looking for their brothers together as they leave the ruins of their village and gather their awesome RPG party of fairy tale characters.

Otome Game Review: Trouble Fortune Company Happy☆Cure
This is another one of those games where the seiyuu cast is amazing and everything else is balls. The story is about our heroine Tsuzuri whose mother is a fortune teller. One day her mom Sakura goes missing in action, leaving Tsuzuri and her brother Amane, saying she’s gone to look for their father. She leaves without saying where she’s going and how long she’ll be gone and now all of her fortune telling customers demand to see her. It’s up to Tsuzuri to train (aka for you to raise stats) so that she can become a super fortune teller and snag that man. Quality over 9000 ahead! Read the rest of this entry
Otome Game Review: Asuka! ~Our Seitou High School Baseball Team~
The Japanese slogan as a mouthful so I just translated it into English. This is Madoka Games’ first release – but don’t be fooled, as Madoka Games is actually Mirai Soft’s all ages brand. I’m glad they are thinking beyond the porn for once but I have to admit it really does show that that’s all they think about. This may have been their first all ages release but it felt like it was released by a company that’s never made an otome game before. Anyway the story is very simple. Our heroine Asuka is the manager of her high school’s baseball team who also works part time in a cafe with her older brother Haruto as well as her younger brother Hikaru. The town folk get together and realize if they don’t somehow make their town stand out, everyone will start to leave and their shopping district and community will fall apart. They ask Haruto to become the coach and guide the high school baseball team to make it to Koshien. Doesn’t help that one of that star players of the team is moving away as well, so now it’s up to Asuka to convince everyone who quit to come back and kick some baseball ass! Otome Game Review: Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi
The original makers of this game were a BL team (Yura) so I was told by everyone how it’s such a shocker I’m playing it since it has “dark themes”. Anyway that aside the story is about a hikkikomori girl who’s been sitting in her room because of a certain incident that happened at school. She refuses to come out until one day she has a dream where some cowboy oniisan tells her to try to get out and stop being a hikki. She decides to listen to this dream man and so she goes out and is stopped by a random guy who decides to cut her hair in the middle of a children’s playground. She is so shocked at how different and better she looks that slowly she decides to come out of her shell and return to school. Skip to my final impressions to avoid spoilers. Otome Game Review: Happy☆Magic!
I don’t think Pony Canyon should ever make Otome Games but they did and I was unfortunate enough to play it. Actually I didn’t really do any background research on this (like I never do honestly) but it feels to me like they just got a bunch of famous seiyuus just to do some drama CDs and then made the otome game as a side thing? Kinda like with Starry Sky. Of course unlike with this game, HoneyBee actually had a decent artist and programmer do the game. Anyway the story is very simple. Your teacher tells you to snag a man before Christmas or something and then you will get a special “jewel” depending on which man you snag. So now with your annoying tsukkomi cat Nyaa (voiced appropriately by ishida akira) our heroine Temari, who is also studying to be a witch, is ready to catch some pokemans bishies! Otome Game Review: Garnet Cradle ~Sugary Sparkle~

Fandisk ｷﾀ━━━(ﾟ(ﾟ∀(ﾟ∀ﾟ(☆∀☆)ﾟ∀ﾟ)∀ﾟ)ﾟ)━━━!!! Yea I’ve been wanting to play this for a long time ❤ The premise basically is Miku wants to go to the school’s Christmas party and then her dad gives her a box of candy. Depending on the candy you choose, it throws you into a “Miku is in a relationship with XXX but he doesn’t seem to show his love for her” story. Additionally all the guys get some goofy new outfit (like some wolf ears for Saliya and some traditional Japanese garments for Touya.) Details & spoilers after the jump as usual! Otome Game Review: Starry☆Sky ~In Winter~
Well this is the final game in the Starry Sky series. It’s a bit sad because you know there won’t be anymore new bishies, but frankly I’m so sick of Tsukiko being a 12 timing whore!! Okay well obviously the game is fantasy but geez they could have totally used like a different girl in each game just for a change…or perhaps at least not add the fact that all the guys from the previous games are all still there. Like yea hi you totally married me in the spring game, but now I’m attending your wedding with some guy from the winter game. かなしすぐるｳﾜｧｧ—–｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡—–ﾝ!!!! The game takes place now around Tsukiko’s student council activities, which they did mention in the previous games but obviously it wasn’t the focus at the time. Anyway dramatic sarcasm aside, enjoy the winter review. As always spoilers ahead, and download/CG requests will be deleted with extreme burning hatred of 1000 suns.
Otome Game Review: Lover’s Collection
This game was originally made by Ribbon Magic but I think the company has since dissolved and the game was then taken over by Tiara Mode! Sadly this might be one of Tiara Mode’s better games since it was not made by Tiara Mode’s usual staff 
The story is about Hinako whose dream is to be working in fashion. She lands a job working in the ladies section of a department store. A few months after working there she finds out that she has to get transferred to the men’s department because of some lady getting preggo and quitting her job. She’s hesitant at first but her childhood friend Satoru (who happens to be the store manager) gives her words of encouragement and so begins her new position in men’s clothing. She also has a part time assistant Yuuna, who I like to call Tit-chan since her boobs are like the size of her head and she acts like she looks: a dumb blonde. Hinako’s also got this sad sob story that her entire family got into a car accident and her mother, father & sister all died..and she was the sole survivor.
